While the Roo offers the same storage capacity as The North Face Roo II, this design features a winged hipbelt and an organizer in the front pocket, making it a perfect lumbar design for anyone who needs to take fieldwork notes. The big main compartment is also perfect for new parents who need a hands-free pack for diaper changes during the zoo or children's museum trips. Reflective accents along the outside of The North Face Roo II help keep you in sight during evening trips through congested parking lots.
When you've got a little adventure planned that is just a hop away from camp or home, strap on The North Face's Roo Lumbar pack and carry just what you need. With a large main compartment and winged hipbelt, you'll be able to tuck away a few energy bars and other essentials without losing mobility.

Throw your wallet, a digital camera, diary, and a small bottle of water into The North Face Roo Lumbar Pack and hike the hidden section of the Great Wall. An interior organizer secures your passport and phrasebook, while the winged hip-belt, breathable back panel, and a top handle ensure comfortable travels. A DWR finish withstands spring rains, and abrasion-resistant material protects your gear. Reflective hits save you from becoming roadkill. Carry the Roo Lumbar Pack as a small daypack on your travels through exotic locales—or your local trail network.
The Roo Waist Pack by The North Face is a large lumbar pack that is great for school, hiking or sightseeing in your favorite city. With a organizer in zip pocket and carry handle, the Roo can take care of all your needs.

Great Lumbar Pack | |

I use this pack for cycling and short hikes when I don't need to carry much gear. 180 cu. in. is plenty of room for my wallet, cell phone, multi-tool, small first aid kit, Clif bar, patch kit and tire lever (if cycling), inhaler, etc, with room to spare. To be honest, it's actually a little big for cycling, but perfect for short hikes when a lot of gear isn't needed. | |

| I read the reviews before I purchased my roo and it's big, but not big enough to "carry my baby around in". I intended to give it as a gift, but the size of it was not what I thought, so I kept it for myself and use it while I hike w/ my dog! It works perfect, looks nice and is very durable! | |
