| My husband received this pull-over for his birthday last year. He lost it this November and we decided to buy one for each of us for Christmas. It fits me differently than it does him, but I think a woman can wear this without it being obvious it's a man's sweater. We love these fleece. They are warm and soft, and because they have a small square pattern beveled in the material, they kind of hide dirt. I have yet to find a fleece as thick as these for a woman. My husband rarely takes his sweater off in the fall and winter. The only con to these has to do with washing, and it may just be our washing machine. But his last sweater like this would get little nap balls all over it after every wash. There was nothing I could do differently in washing that would keep this from happening. I purchased a $5 sweater shaver and it works perfectly. I have not yet washed the new sweaters, so I do not know if this was completely normal, or if it was just that particular sweater. But they are worth the effort to be sure. | |

A simply wonderful sweater

| Fleece sweaters usually leave somthing to be desired with their fluffy exterior. The North Face has thermally bonded the exterior of the SDS 1/4 zip to create a quilted surface. This gives the warm, quick drying sweater a more casual and stylish appearance while retaining all the things outdoors enthusiasts love about fleece. I love this shirt for its design and appeal. I can throw it over a casual shirt and use it as fall-weight outerwear, or I can layer it under a gore-tex shell and muck around any mountain pass in the rain or snow. If you're looking for a quality fleece that will look good in a variety of situations, this one fits the bill. However, climbers and guides might not like the excess bulk of the relaxed fit. They might be able to buy down a size and still end up with a great shirt. | |

Awesome fleece | |

This is a great fleece, feels very lightweight but warm, has a nice silhouette (doesn't look bulky or baggy like a potato sack, lots of fleeces have this problem). It doesn't have a draw cord at the bottom like some fleeces but if you order the right size you're not going to need it. I'm 5'8 160lbs and the medium is a perfect fit all over, even the sleeves are the perfect length which was surprising because I sometimes have trouble with TNF products having sleeves that were 2-3 inches too long. All in all this is a very sharp looking fleece, perfect for layering.

great piece | |

I recently bought this for a late spring trip to Montana. It worked excellent as a top layer on dry days and great under a rain shell when the weather got wet. The fit is athletic (meaning not baggy)which makes this a great piece for layering. It felt great after a day of being wet and cold rafting and equally as comfortable around the campfire at night and first thing in the AM when the temps dropped into the upper 30's/mid 40's.

Nice lightweight fleece
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I just got this one in the Blue, it is a nice fleece. It is lightweight and keeps me really warm. The only minor complaint would be that the sleeves do not have elastic on the ends so it is loose fitting on your wrists. This works great as a jacket in the fall or you could use this as a base layer in the winter. | |

Nice fleece | |

This is a good fleece. Pretty much all North Face fleeces are. My only complaint is that it runs pretty big, but it is not as heavy weight / bulky as the North Face Denali. Hope that helps. This guy works great under my shell and I use it a lot for higher elevation hikes.

Great! But it's Gone! | |

Travels well, never a wrinkle. Breathes great so you don't overheat. Layers comfortably. I love it because of its versatility from campsite to international airports. Way bad that my granddaughter dropped candle wax on it, my wife tried to fix it and now it have a hole right about my navel... go figure.

Great everyday pullover

I bought this with intention of a light duty everyday jacket. I love it and it is warmer than I thought it would be. I don't think you can go wrong. The length is a little longer that I had expected but it is not a problem.

Cash money buy, all you need

I recently bought this fleece in hopes of a nice jacket that was light weight but still warm. I am very pleased with, it is a great base-layer and keeps you especially warm during light physical exercise.

Great Pullover | |

| Nice little pullover. It's pretty warm, dries quickly, and can be used out and about or in town. The only thing I don't like about this sweater is that it's a dog hair magnet. | |

Vintage White not as pictured

| Ordered the Vintage White for my son... Not at all like pictured. No black trim whatsoever. The North Face emblem is not in black either. Very disappointed. Returning as we speak. | |
