| I just received my third try in boots: The North Face Women's Storm Peak Boot II - Black/Black - 8.5/B-Medium. The first two pair were fine for normal feet; my feet are simply special-needs. I have bunions, hammer toes, and plantar fasciitis, and thus my feet truly require a very special fit. The North Face Women's Storm Peak Boot II are PERFECT for me. Along with a perfect, comfy fit, they are warm and light-weight, which is an extra treat for toes that have been frost bitten in past years. They are true to size, water proof, and reflective...additional bonus features. I love them! Thank you for a great product, and your awesome service!!! | |

I liked everything about this boot, especially its light weight and I was disappointed to have to return them but unfortunately, they were too tight across the top arch of my foot. When I purchased this boot I sized up one half size, perhaps if I had sized up one whole size they may have felt a better fit. It is also worth noting that my feet have high arches. Definitely buy them one half to one size larger. I never got the chance to test them but they seemed like they would keep my feet VERY warm. If I coud be assured of the corretct size I would purchase these again.

I have North Face Insulated packs that have served me well when we have heavy snow and cold here in Montana. I was looking for something a little more "stylish" but still provide warmth. These are very comfortable and light weight. I cannot say how they are for cold temps yet as it has not dropped below +13F since I purchased them. But at +13F my feet were comfortable...and my feet are always cold!

| North Face's Women's Storm Peak Boot II Great - Fabulous fit, warmth and comfort. An excellent choice for general winter wear in the cold Northeast! Stands up to slush, shoveling, and trekking by the slopes. | |

| Very Disappointed - I read meters for a living so I needed a good lightweight/waterproof hiking shoe. Three days into wearing this shoe the glue seal around the sole came open exposing the footbed to water. The Hydrseal membrane will only stand up to an hour or two walking in the rain/snow and the outsole also started to come off within a week. The only positive thing I have to say about this boot is it does have good traction. Overall, a total waste of my money. Scared to try North Face products again. | |
