Great lightweight insulation from TNF

I felt compelled to write this review after reading another review that stated he got this jacketfrom another site. He claims the logo is a cheap patch and not sewed on. I bought this jacket from an official TNF reseller and the TNF logo and 800 on the arm are definitely sewed on with the usual quality you see on real TNF gear. I suspect the reviewer may have bought a fake. I love my jacket. It is light and plenty warm. I usually receive at least one compliment on it whenever I wear it out on an expedition.

Thunder Rolls!

Great down jacket!! Picked this up unaware of how warm the 800 Fill down would be......couldn't be happier!! Great fit on this Thunder Jacket; perfect length and fit throughout! Couldn't imagine owning a better down jacket! The North Face hit it out of the park with this jacket!! It also compresses well for long treks!!

Amazing Jacket

Been wanting a new North Face jacket for many years now. The green Thunder jacket that I just bought is by far the best jacket that I've ever owned. Ultra light weight, very stylish and super warm even in the coldest of days.

Negative Reviews:

Don't know how warm yet but the TNF logo on the front and back is very cheap looking. The logo is not stitched on but looks like glued on sticker and looks like it will wear off easily. If this was not from Backcountry, I might have thought it could be fake but I guess this must be another cost savings measure.

Bad TNF Logo

I purchased this from another website for much less but I wanted to let everyone know that the TNF logo on the front and back is not stitched on. The TNF looks like it was glued on and looks cheap. Would not be surprised to see the lettering start to crack and come off the jacket.
