love these!!!
i love this fleece pull-over. i bought 1 about 3 months ago and decided i needed another. so i bought 1 more. i wear almost everyday so i just went back and bought 3 more. i could throw the rest of my shirts away after finding this. so comfy. i usually get too warm in the house,but not with this pull-over. i really want to wear all of the time. cant hoping for different colors to come out so i can buy more.
washes up great and havent noticed any problems with fading or shrinking.
i cant find anything wrong with this pull-over except they need more colors.
plan on wearing for fall,winter and spring.

I am writing this review as a WFR on a SAR team out of New Mexico. Up in NM's higher elevations the evenings/mornings are downright chilly and this is the go to pullover of choice to get the mornings rocking or sitting around the campfire chillin. I love this particular product so much I own five different colors (Orange Twist, Weimaraner Brown, Conifer Green, Mojito Green, and Famenco Blue). Offers the warmth I need for being as lightweight as it is, is a very breathable material and dries quick. The material is study after several seasons and colors hold up well. Of course the Mojito Green is PERFECT for drinking Guiness on St. Paddy's Day!
Yes, I was supposed to wait until Christmas morning to open the Zappos box. But I just wanted to make sure I was in love with my new North Face jacket! And I so am! It's extremely comfortable, fits perfectly (i got a size medium and I'm 5'7 and 140 lbs) and it's so very warm. The price is such a bargain for this jacket. The reason I continue to buy jackets by The North Face is that they always fit in such a flattering way. This jacket is the same great quality and warm you can always expect to get from this brand. And with Zappos free shipping both ways, you can't lose!
Great light weight fleece; soft, looks great, and keeps you warm
This is the second North Face TKA 100 Microvelour Glacier 1/4 Zip I have purchased this Winter. This one was for my daughter based on her loving mine. This jacket is true to size, soft to the touch, and surprisingly warm for it weight. The fabric holds up well to washing and does not collect hair or lent. Even in temperatures down to 30 degrees F, this jacket keeps you warm and keeps the wind out. It also is a great lounging around on the couch shirt not causing you to overheat inside. We will be buying more of these in the future.
Soft as Pima Cotton
How can I describe the ultra softness of these tops? I just bought three of them from Moosejaw. Two were for me who needed warmth but not weight and one for my son (it's his third TKA 100 since last year) because he just loves wearing them. I've had other tops from North Face and can attest they are extremely durable, keep their color and shape through many washings. I just bought the beautiful Linaria Pink which I can wear now and into spring as well as the Plush Purple another gorgeous transitional color. My son's top is the beautiful Nautical blue.
I live in it
I was given one and never took it off. Perfect for cool days, great for layering on cold days. Its the type of clothing that reads your mind. Great for cold weather hiking, but I get over heated if I bike in it.I lost my first one (it was a gift), and was hesitant to buy another one (I'm a tightwad). I made it a month without it and caved. Its now almost 2 years old and despite lots of bushwhacking, sweat and washes,it looks like its a month old. I'm 5'4 and 115 lbs, and the small fits great.
Love My NF Tops
I love my NF tops. They are great for layering. On days that are only silightly cool I will wear a tank top under this, cooler days a t-shirt and coldd days a turtleneck. A scarf works well with these tops too. I don't have any problem with the "maternity" look that others have mentioned. I am not petite (I wear a large), so that may be the difference. These are super soft, so the children like to cuddle with me when I am wearing them. These are thin enough that they are easy to wear under a coat.
excellent but expensive
I love fleece and live in it all winter. I'd been looking for this bright pink color and had pretty much given up when I saw this. It's a delicious color, very soft and warm and a flattering but not-too-tight fit. The only thing I didn't like was the price--it's a bit high but I kept it because it's such a quality product. I got this in a different color (also gorgeous) a couple years ago and have been very happy with it. I wears and washes very well, holds it's shape, and so far no pilling.
Normally I wear XS. But since it was first time for me ordering a top from The North Face, I used size chart from The North Face website (according to which I am Small). So I've ordered this sweater in S, which turned out to be too big. So I am returning it, and getting XS instead. Aside from this, I loved everything about this sweater (color - I've ordered olivetto green, fabric, texture). It's warm, soft and cozy. And I didn't want to take it off. So I can't wait for XS to arrive.
Cute jacket cozy soft
Waist area feels loose, I wish it were warmer to keep the wind out and away from my middle area, but it is good as long as you have layers underneath. The small is good except I wish it were longer since I am 5'9" and have a small waist. It is cozy and soft. Caution, right when you get it, it leaves light colored fuzzy pillballs on whatever you wear it with! It's cute and I get compliments on it, plus it was a great deal on this website.

They Changed it, Disappointed
I have one of the older TKA 100 shirts and I love it so much I wanted to get a few more. SO when I bought this years fleece I was deeply disappointed that they had changed the fit of the shirt, it seems huge and flares like a maternity top. I can't tell you how disapponted I am. I am very petite (5'4" and 100LBs) and the old TKA 100 was one of the few tops that fit me just right in a xs, now I swim in it, because it doesn't fit close to the body it's not as warm as my old one. I returned my purchase with heavy heart as I loved the colors.
Disappointed
I am terribly disappointed in the fit of this NF pullover fleece. I am a petite 5-0" 102 lbs. and love The North Face brand because i can always wear an xs and it fits perfectly. the fit of this particular tka is very large and long on me compared to the others I own. I will be returning it :(
Just OK
I got one of these 5 years ago and really liked the first one I had. I got two more this year are a really different cut and I don't like them nearly as much; especially don't like the flare they have at the bottom, the loose fit, and just don't fit as well.

Makes me miss the old pullovers...
I am a North Face fleece devotee, and have loved every single purchase until this one--I found the midsection way too big! Their old TKA 100 pullovers were sized just about right (maybe a hair too short, but whatever,) but this one I had to take in on the sides because it feels like a maternity top! Perhaps mine is just poorly cut... I'd like to go to a store someday and compare.
Aside from my fit gripes, however, I find this pullover perfect--warm, lightweight, and able to stand up to the preposterous Nebraska winters. Ultra combo: pair it with the TKA 100 pants.

Not what it used to be
I love the black TKA 100 that I bought 5+ years ago. The velour fleece is thin but very warm, it didn't pill when laundered and the fit was perfect. I bought 2 more in the past year in different colors and am disappointed. The fleece is significantly bulkier and doesn't drape at all and I think the fit of the garmet is different. I feel like the Pillsbury Dough Boy in them! I much prefer the original.
I am just shy of 6' tall and ordered a medium. It fits in the chest/shoulders/body perfectly but the length of the arms and overall length of the body is very, very, very short.
Cute but small
Wish I had ordered a medium. It was a slimmer fit than I expected.
