I keep coming back for more!
| Rating: | ![]() |
Well this is the 3rd North Face backpack I've owned in 3 years. Not because of any fault of theirs-- they keep getting stolen! That said, I keeping buying new ones because I like them so much. This is the first Vault pack I bought and so far, so good. It's perfect for just throwing a few things in and riding around on my bike. Once it gets warmer I'm going to test it out hiking but I'm pretty sure it'll be fine since it works well with all my day-to-day city stuff in it. It's a basic pack, no fancy bells and whistles, but it will get the job done well.

"Good For Petite Girls Who Dont Want A Lot on Their Backs!!!"
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I bought this item in black, however, I discovered that moosejaw had a green camo version. I love this item! I am a petite 5'3" girl, and this backpack does the job for everything. I am an avid camper and love snowboarding. I take this pack everywhere from school to camping to vacation. It's durable and light-weight. The pocket in the front is great for the small miscellaneous things I have to carry, while the large compartment can fit anything. So if you are a petite girl, this is the one for you! | |

Lots of room | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| The Vault back pack is great, lots of room, for a lunch pail and sweaters and the other coverings when we ride our bikes in the winter and are over 55 years young. The straps are comfortable, the color is noticeable . I did alot of research on different packs We don't have good bike lanes and are forced to deal with what they give us. This is style and the Video is great. good thinking. Great backpack, Great price. At that price, I might buy one in each color!! | |

Vault Backpack | |

Growing up in PA, I have know the North Face name along with many other outdoor brands, all my life. Owning a few other products that are North Face, I've learned to appreciate the name and respect its durability through the years. Being an outdoorsman all my life, I've purchased many of brands and by far, North Face is ranked right at the top for me and many of my friends and family.

More bang for your buck!
| Rating: | ![]() |
| Since the Vault is one of the cheaper north face back packs, I thought for sure it wouldn't be all that great. I was wrong! When I first got it, it didn't look that big, but when started putting my heavy college textbooks in there I realized that it held more than I thought. I am able to carry around a full course load of books and it doesn't hurt my back at all! | |

Great Pack | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
This is a great pack. I am very active so it is good for holding my cleats, mit, climbing gear etc. The only thing I wish it had were side pockets for my water bottle. This is a fairly large pack so if you are looking for something smaller go with a different pack. Also I have a small frame so the straps are little large for me but I deal.

A good & sturdy bag for the price. Student liked it alot!

| My stepson wanted a North Face backpack for school. They are all that for the kids these days. The vault is a decent size and the price here is really good. I think he may have done a little better with a slightly larger model but this is a good sturdy bag, the price was very competitive with other sites, and overall, I am pleased with the purchase. | |

Nice pack | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
It's a nice pack. I like how it is just one large compartment. The bag is pretty spacious. The front pocket has a built in organizer, but it is not a very good organizer, I wish it was just a little pocket. No daisy chain on the front is a little annoying. But I'm giving it 5 stars because I knew these things when I bought it.

"Guess it's nice but your paying for the name"
| Rating: | ![]() |
| Just got it with rewards points (God bless Moosejaw) anyhow's this is just a pack period. It's big a 1850 cubic inch. Yeh thats bigger than your Subaru Forester engine. But its basic made prob in China like all the rest. On the + side I like basic packs, those multi pocket monsters are a puzzle. People put this down because of lack of hiding spaces. Two compartments,, one big, one small, the small has what students call a "organizer". yeah maybe the right size if you carry a desktop instead of a laptop. If your going for a long day or overnighter or want to stand out at school or take to many classes and have money to burn. This is your baby | |

"Typical School Backpack"
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I've had this pack for a couple of years to carry to work etc.. It works great for that. But I used it last week as a daypack for hiking etc. and it was not very functional for that. No H2o bladder holder, no waist strap, not really ergonomically friendly, and the straps made my shoulders hurt. I had maybe 10 pounds of stuff in it, (water, food, cookset, camera etc.). | |
| Andy at Moosejaw on 10/27/2009 | |
its just alright | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| the straps on this backpack are extremely wide and when i carry it, its tough on my shoulders and underarms. also the smaller container part of the backpack where i generally keeps my keys, wallet, phone, etc.. sits extremely high on the backpack so i cant just sling it around to get something out. its a little more difficult. but its not a bad backpack. | |
