GOOD COAT! | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| This has proven to be a good winter coat here in Kansas. It's very warm on days when the temperature is below 40 degrees. When the temperature is above 40 degrees I usually switch to my North Face Denali fleece. The lining is very soft and comfortable and it zips out easily. On warmer days I unzip the lining and just wear the shell around. I've owned this jacket for 2 months now and I've been very pleased with it. | |

A good long term investment!

| After a couple of weeks skiing this is THE jacket - Chamonix, France = wind and rain, very wet - the jacket bore all resistance to extreme conditions. Verbier, Switzerland = bright crisp sun, spring conditions - too hot with both layers, but outer on its own was fantastic. Great versatile jacket in extremes of conditions - highly recommended! Materials and construction quality very good also. | |

Worth the price | |

| Bought this jacket for a ski trip to NH. I had a good base layer. It was -3 on the top and I was warm and toasty. Plenty of pockets and the hood is great for the long rides on the ski lift to get out of the wind. | |

Excellent rain and snowboarding jacket
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I've used it many times for both rainy SF days, and recently for snowboarding. It was excellent in both situations, and I always stayed warm and dry. The inner synthetic down jacket can be worn on it's own most days, and is very stylish, windproof, and water resistant. | |

Nice Jacket | |

I got this jacket for a ski trip coming up in December. I haven't had a chance to test it in the cold but as far as style goes it's pretty cool. It's soft up against the skin (arms) and fits great.

"Very versatile jacket"

| This jacket can be used in almost any weather out there. I can recommend this to anyone who aren't into buying pure shell jackets. This jacket has integrated insulation to zip on or off very practical. | |

Great Jacket, BUT.... | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| GREAT jacket in terms of durability and warmth. I have broad upper body and XL when worn with both layers is a bit snug in the shoulders but not a bad fit. This jacket would have been 5 Stars except when it arrived it had very conspicuous RED zippers and liner accents that stuck out like a sore thumb! I would never have ordered the jacket if I knew if would ship with flashy red zippers/liner accents because I can only wear grey or black for work uniform. It's a shame because the jacket as pictured on the website looks great, not so good with the red accents! Why does North Face provide vendors with photos that don't accurately represent what you are going to receive??? I'd recommend if you are O.K. with the jacket showing up looking different that the one in the photo. | |
