"More comfortable than your normal bed"

| Think that is an exaggeration? I don't think so, not after sinking into this lovely soft mattress a few times out camping. Admittedly, it's huge and heavy, but less so than an aerobed and it's much more durable, and requires no electricity. The whole exterior shell is washable (very useful) and the air pad inside is itself a Thermarest luxury pad; I've removed it and carried it alone to save weight. Also handy. The foam layer isn't much to look at, but boy is it soft. Oh, and you can link two of the large ones together and you have a queen bed in your tent! Oh-lala! | |

| i bought this pad hoping it would allow me to travel more comfortably in the car. i injured my left leg many years ago and riding in the car is a nightmare. i fold the front passenger seat flat to the back seat, allowing me to stretch out my leg. but the car seats get uncomfortable after an hour (i need soft, soft, soft everything!). so, i put the pad on top of my "chaise lounge" car seat and rode extremely more comfortably. normally i'm a mess after 4 hours in the car. not anymore! this pad was worth every penny. | |

| I have bought my 2ND Thermarest Dream Time. If I want my wife to be happy as possible camping without giving up my Dream Time I have to do it. The nice thing is you can strap 2 together and make a queen size bed. We use our dream time at times in our family room when there is limited couch space. I fall asleep on it all the time. Its almost as nice as our normal bed. When camping it is awesome and makes friends jealous. Its for car camping only. For that is a dream. | |

| Man, is this pad comfortable. You'd be crazy to backpack with it, but completely at home for car camping. I do some trail work during the summer, and it is so nice to sleep on this at night. After a hard day's work, I can get the sleep I need, my back feels great, and I'm ready for another day. Appears to be of Therm-a-Rest's high quality standards, I haven't used it alot but so far it's great. Wonderful to sleep well while camping. | |

"Best camping bed available for car camping or a base camp."

| I recently purchased two of these beauties and have been using them for base camp and car camping while travelling across the Western US. My philosophy is that a good nights rest is the most important factor to help determine your level of enjoyment regardless of wind, rain or snow during the waking hours. For just plain comfort this is as good as it gets unless you plan on packing it in for a trip on the trail you will sleep like a dream. | |

| I carefully read the reviews and considered whether this was worth it, but I'm here to say that it is WAY worth it after several day's use! Soft comfy fabric on top, thick padding and durable on the bottom. Great for base camp or car camping, and IMO beats the heck outta those cheapo inflatable car camping pads. Well constructed and easy to use. | |

"Get one now!" | |

| This is the best thing to happen to car camping since cars. Seriously it's super comfortable and warm. I got the extra big one and I've never once rolled off of it. Obviously it's not good for backpacking, or if you have a really small car. But if you have room in the car for one get one. | |

"Great product" | |

| This product is what everyone says that it is. Not for backpacking, but for Basecamp or Car Camping, I can't see sleeping on anything else if it is for more than an overnight. | |

| I slept like a baby on this. I am glad I shelled out the bucks. I go camping every month and it will be well used. | |
