Lightweight, compact, comfortable
I've used it mostly in grassy campsites in summer: not sure it would be as comfortable on cold Sierra granite. But it's been perfect for European bike touring.

Spend the ounces -- get the large size
Yes it weighs more than a Rigid Rest, but consider how long you will use it. Use the ounces per hour metric. It is a winner.
