| Two decades ago I bought this Therm-a-Rest seat and mattress for backpacking and loved them. Now life has changed due to illness (fibromyalgia) and the seat has helped me adapt - I use it daily just about everywhere I sit. It makes the whole world comfortable: my kitchen chair, living room couch, restaurants, church pews, theaters, airplanes, buses/trains, cars. I have two and use the 2nd as a backrest. Without Therm-a-Rest, life would be much more limited. | |

| I found the seat cushion to be perfect for long-distance motorcycling. Open the valve and the pad inflates. Put it on the bike and sit on it while opening the valve again. Allow it to deflate to the point where you don't feel like you're sitting on a bubble. Comfortable to ride 1,000 miles in a day. | |
