Thompson M1A1 Airsoft Gun

First of all, don't be fooled by other reviews, the Thompson is not very difficult to load. It may take some getting used to, but it is very easy. it's at a 1:1 scale in terms of length and so forth, and is very close on weight, it is heavy but comfortable. I got mine for Christmas in 2008, and a year after I got it the outer barrel broke where it comes into the upper receiver, but jb weld fixed that. The plastic mag that came with it also broke, but I didn't care as I thought it was junk anyway (plastic and it had an odd looking top to it, not at all accurate to what the real mag looks like). The trademarks are painted on the upper receiver instead of being stamped or etched... Big disappointment there as this is the official licensed model M1A1. As a huge Thompson fan, this gun just feels right in my hands, regardless of the small discrepancies. Overall it is a great beginner aeg, the only thing better in my opinion is the Tokyo Marui version.

This gun is great once you get a good feel for it. The sights are good from the box, and it's accuracy is just scary if you're up against it. The high-cap mag is great, but it's even better to have two mags, or a round drum mag. I recommend buying a magazine holder you can put on your belt, because if you are pinned down by a sniper, or against a lot of opposition, you'll find yourself using a lot of ammo to lay down cover fire, or do the dirty work yourself. Just take a good flank by yourself while your team covers you and you'll do great. So far, I have not lost a fight when I used this gun. Overall, this is the best airsoft gun I have and is all you need to succeed.

I have used this gun for lots of things varying from goofing off with friends in the back yard to actual airsoft battles: its an amazing gun. Plus it also gets your friends to say "wow dude, it looks and feels so real!". Yesterday i bought the 300 rd hi-cap mag (which is the STICK MAG, just like the one that comes with the gun, but only can hold more BBs) that is available on this site, but just ten minutes ago i found a 450 rd ROUND DRUM mag on [@] , which is awesome. But after everything ive said, this is such a wicked sweet gun and i totally would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a durable, sweet looking, powerful, and all around amazing gun!!!

I have had about every brand of airsoft gun and cybergun is not the best brand but this gun will beat a tokyo-mauri or classic army any day. The only problem is once your friends get hit they quit because it makes them bleed. I got mine at the store in Tyler and it had a high capacity 400 rd. mah. included for the same price as online.

OKK so i looked online at this weapon and it is amazing plus when u use it its like your in ww2 , in-till you get shot with a bb but the gun is great its accurate has a lot of power and gets the job done.

over all great gun, you will want to buy the high cap mag but it works if you have a good back up. the only problem is that the gun is a little heavy at times. verry accurate, won 2 vs 6 with it.

awsome one of the best guns.people are scared when they have an airsoft war with me.it is one of the only guns that i have ever goton that isnt a peesof . it is allso a good gun for begeners

The Thompson is one of the greatest guns.This gun is great for backyard shooting.If you have a big back yard such as the woods or forest you are ready for airsoft wars.If you have protection and adult supervision.

Great gun. Just be sure to buy a larger magazine for it. forty-seven rounds doesn't get you very far in an airsoft war. Reloading is required too often
