| Use the adapter for my electric bike and for my wife's Acadia Cruiser, both of which have "east Access" type frames. The adapter works well, and is simple to use. | |

| We struggled to mount my women's bicycle on the Thule bike rack. Then we purchased the 982 adapter. This adapter is strong, fits perfectly, and works like a charm. | |

It does the job | |

| We purchased this bar for my wife's German-made cruising bike. We have a Thule hitch-mounted bike rack, and it was a royal pain to get her bike onto it. This has cut the mounting/unmounting time by 75%. It's not perfectly stable due to the one-size-fits-all nature of the mounting brackets on each end of the bar, but that is overcome by properly mounting the bike w/ bar to the bike carrier. | |

| Thought it was going to be more wobbly than it is. Knock on wood, no problems for 65 mph three -hour rides on a highway. Note that, since I use the strap provided with Roadway Thule hitch mounted bike rack, I also run the strap around the bar of the adapter. Note that I also use anti-sway bracket (one per bike). | |
