Did the job | |

| Even though I have a roof rack system, I decided to buy the trunk bike rack to save some cash. I wasn't disappointed with this system. It did the job and was easy to install. We have two comfort bikes. My girlfriend's bike has a very small triangle and I was able to make it fit without buying the extra component. The only downside is that you need to snug up the straps after the first few miles - but hey, that should be expected with a strap system - you need to find the "sweet spot". I also wish Thule would provide you with something to manage the loose strap ends. I ended up using a Chip-Clip to hold all the strap ends together. PS - I drive an 2001 Audi A4 | |

| More money than I would have liked to spend, but turned out to be really good equipment. We didn't find set up very intuitive at first, but once you get the hang of it it becomes a cinch. It is compatible with a lot of cars and proved very secure in 600+ mile road trip. Can be frustrating to readjust every time you want to get into the trunk, but thats something to consider with any trunk- mount rack. | |

Did great! | |

| Rack did great. I put 4 bikes on and drove over 700 miles to our destination and did the same coming home. Over 1400 miles and no problem. Did great! Smaller bikes were a little tough to put on but no big deal. | |

Keeps bikes stable | |

| Best trunk mounted rack I've used. Keeps bikes secure and prevents shifting. Keeps bikes away from trunk too. Easy to adjust rack; use instructions for proper fit to car. Does not fit small mountain bike frames well, so we use additional bungee straps. | |

I would prefer other rack
| Rating: | ![]() |
| This rack does can haul 3 bikes, but it has some disadvantages: 1. The vertical steel hooks that should be attached to the upper edge of van or SUV rear door are bended so if I open the rear door of my van they can damage the van's body 2. The side straps are difficult to tighten so after some driving they become loose and all the rack becomes horizontally unstable. The way the side straps are attached to the rack also decrease stability. 3. The rack sits low so you have to attach bikes high or their wheels can hit ground at a pothole. 4. the anti-sway clip is very difficult to clip on the "horns" that carry bikes The "horns" are loose. It eases the bike attachment but decrease stability So before you buy this rack check Yakima | |

Good rack, was hard to mount small bikes
| Rating: | ![]() |
| Its a fine rack, fit the Prius without issue, but it was really hard to install both mine and my wife's bikes. She has a smaller frame and the rear shock on my bike made it really hard to install. Also once its on the back of the Prius, its really hard to open the back door. | |
