Replacement straps for old Thule car-top

I purchased these straps to replace the old straps on my car-top bike rack. The old ones were pretty useless after many years of use - they would slip out of "lock-down" - I had to bungee the wheel to the rack. The new ones installed quickly, are a bit larger to handle bigger tires, and work very well.

Longer strap is better for mtn bikes

I use the strap for my mtn bike and road bike. These new replacement straps seem to be a bit longer and a bit more durable than the old ones.

straps are great, standup bike rack not!

I had to purchase this because when I purchased the standup bike rack for my thule roof rack the back endcap kept coming off till one day i could not find it anymore. Now i need to keep buying these straps because they keep falling off because there is no endcap to keep them on with. They should really snap or screw in place somehow or have a stop screw just before the endcap to keep them from constantly slidin off.
