very well made

Product came in and was inpressed how strong they were..Installed these today for help in loading the boat... I installed these along with the side guide on bunk boards. This is Texas and we have lots of windy days...Havent used these yet, but I know will will be great.. rubber is strong andthey are welded to iron braces.

Rollers aid loading in current

Rollers help center boat in trailer. Nice when currents or waves. Makes one man loading much easier. Added width minor consideration unless backing in very confined spaces. Lights may be mounted higher, on these supports for better visibility by others.

Great product easy install.

Product helps line up the boat on the trailer. I would recommend 2 pairs one for the front and one for rear. Great help on those windy days.

Good product - easy to install

Good product. Does what it says. Heavy duty construction. Makes loading our boat on the trailer easier. Easier to line up the boat on the trailer.

Negative Reviews:

Luke Warm

The product was not as pictured. There is an upper mounting plate which is quite flimsy and which bent immediately on tightening so I'm expecting future trouble. (Picture shows u-bolts. Product comes with straight bolts and upper and lower plates. Lower plate great, upper plate very thin and weak.)
Basshopper at Gander Mountain on 08/08/2009

Good Junk

I installed them on my new bass boat trailer fairly easy. They looked nice. The first time I got the boat home from the lake after installation the left unit was broken!!! The one rubber tip was gone and the lock nut was too.

Sturdy unit - needs slight modification

Unit is used in salt water. Makes loading my boat very easy. Before you install it, drill a small hole in the elbow where it turns up to drain water from it. As it is not plugged on the ends, water accumilates in the elbow and sits; rust forms and eventually rusts through. Great unit but only lasted 2 years, going to a fiberglass unit now.

Will do the job

Though the product was fairly easy to install and durable, the website had a picture of the wrong product so I ended up with something I didn't expect. They should work fine as long as I check the bolts for tightness every once in awhile. 2 Weeks after I purchased they were on sale! :o(

O.K. Product

Had to make some modifications to make it work. Hot dipped galvanization did not look presentable. Some SHARP edges. Good for smaller, lighter boats under 14 foot. O.K. value for the money.
