The premium full-grain leather upper of this shoe provides comfort, durability and abrasion-resistance, while the hardware is corrosion-resistant and will stand the test of time. The 360-degree rawhide lacing system allows for a custom fit. The upper is stitched to the EVA midsole, which is then cemented to the outsole with no exposed stitching. There is an EVA-filled heel and forepart for lightweight comfort, and an airport-friendly nylon shank that will not set off metal detectors. A Timberland tree logo is embossed on the side, with the Timberland name embossed on the tongue and trim. Nautical flags spell out the Timberland name on the inside collar. The outsole is a durable, non-marking, siped thermo-rubber that provides outstanding traction on wet surfaces.
