| Best Boots Ever!!!!!! LOVE!!!! I bought the brown pair, and loved them so much I had to have the black as well. Other reviews seem to complain about the narrow width and calf- it makes me wonder just what their legs look like! I have a very large muscley calf (16"!) and usually can't wear tall boots at all, but the gusset on these allowed for a lot of stretch- I was comfortable in them even through my last pregnancy. I have very wide feet and usually have to wear a (too long for me) size ten, but these seem to be wider width than other brands. I got the medium width, and fit happily into a 9.5. They're not quite dressy enough for the office, but are comfortable the whole way to and from - the perfect "commute boot". These look great with my suits and dresses, a much better alternative to the sneakers-and-suit look that we working city girls have to resort to for comfort. They are my weekend staples as well, and are great for walking around the city and running after my two sons in the park. I have worn these every day for more than two years, and they are still as comfortable as when I first put them on. The brown has a more weathered look than the black, but that's probably because I wear them more often. I honestly can't recommend these highly enough- I will probably be stockpiling them in five years when mine finally die! | |

| Almost great timberland boots - Wanting a pair of winter boots and knowing the quality of Timberland, I ordered these and overall I am very satisfied with them. The craftsmanship is everything you would expect at this price point: rugged, durable, handsome. However, I find the shaft is quite narrow even with the gusset let out. I walk a lot; I have well developed gams and can barely get these boots zipped. Oh, yes, the leather eventually stretches a bit and now I can get them zipped over very thin winter long johns. Hopefully it will stretch a bit more. Another inch in the shaft would be most welcome for me. They offer great traction on snow not so much on ice. Waterproof? Hmmm...I used Sno Seal on mine. It darkens the leather somewhat but protects it and keeps the water out. This is an accessory item that Zappos should sell. Except for the narrow shaft, these boots are extremely comfortable and have been from the first moment I put them on (an unusual quality in boots in my opinion). I have worn them all day with no problem. I would have preferred them in black but black was not offered. The look is rugged chic, appropriate for winter boots in Chicago. I would buy these boots again. Timberland: improve the waterproofing, offer black and increase the shaft width and you will have a 5 star product. | |

| I love the color and the quality of the leather. Also love the rugged sole and the fact that these are waterproof. I\'ve worn them in the rain and they kept my feet warm and dry. I have small ankles and calves, and the fit is fine. I use the buckle at the top to adjust the calf so that the boot isn\'t way too big. \r\n\r\nI am disappointed, however, at how much they stretched out in the foot in one day of wear. The fit felt perfect when I tried them on at home. But after a day of heavy walking I\'m wishing that I had ordered a half size smaller. Also, the arch support is just okay, not as good as other Timberlands I\'ve had. | |

| The look of the boot is a bit masculine. Exactly what I was looking for! They are a bit narrow in the foot, but I ordered a half size smaller. I usually wear a 9 in boots, but got an 8.5 because of the reviews. Glad I did. They were tough to get on the first time, but after a couple of times of taking them off and on I can tell they will stretch out to perfection in no time. | |

| I bought these boots for myself for Christmas to wear on my motorcycle and I absolutely love them. They are warm, comfy, and versatile. I wear them with jeans, and with dresses for an edgy look that's still stylish. I bought these in a wide size and they were still a little snug for a while but quickly broke in. I can't wait til the hot summer weather is over so I can start wearing them again! | |

| I wish these had fit - I tried on four different sizes (9, 9.5, 9W, 9.5W) and none of them were quite right; I have wide feet, so the wide sizes fit in the foot part, but the leg part was too large in the wide sizes. Just because my feet are wide doesn't mean I have large calves! Very unfortunate, as these are absolutely beautiful and obviously well made. Just too narrow for me. | |

| Love them - I had already purchased the black ones last year and wore them numerous times dressed up or down. They still look very nice and they are very comfortable! I received many compliments wearing them. So this fall I decided to buy the dark brown ones as well and I am very happy I did. They are the same high quality leather and they are great in our Washington State rainy weather. | |

| Love my boots! I did some research prior to buying these boots, mostly because of the room in the calf area. These do not fit me completely YET, but I just need to get my lazy rear in gear and once I do some exercise, I am sure they will. :) Great looking sexy boot. Only wish they listed the calf circumference. Probably would have done the exercise PRIOR to buying (right). | |

| Great boots - I bought a half size larger than usual, and they fit very well. Narrow in the ankles, true to size in the foot, and they break in and open up in the calf. My only complaint is the finish. I have it in black, and they aren't super shiny (I need to polish) and would have preferred that kind of finish. Otherwise, super stylish with jeans or skirts. | |

| I love the look of these boots, but for those of you with wide calves, choose another boot. Although the circumference is supposed to be 16.25", they did not fit my 14.5-15" calves. (Maybe because I'm short and my calves are widest too far down the leg.) Anyway, I have ordered the lace up version and hopefully that will do the trick. | |

| An odd fit - I was excited when I found these because they looked nice enough for city wear, but rugged enough to wear around a ranch on a rainy day, and the price was good. I was really disappointed when they came; they fit wrong all over. My calf is about 15 inches around, and I have a wide size 7 foot. I could hardly get them zipped, and the ankle felt really tight, too. The foot felt comfortable enough, but the boots were really long in the toe, giving the whole thing a sort of odd cowboy boot look. They made my feet look huge, especially when I tried them on under jeans. I returned the boots and will probably spring for Fryes instead. | |
