Here it is: the original Timberland boot that helped start it all over thirty years ago. The Timberland Classic 6" Boot is crafted with a premium, waterproof, full-grain leather upper that makes this boot rugged and dependable. There is a direct-attach, seam-sealed construction that keeps feet dry in any weather, plus a double-barreled padding system, which is made with a thin sheet of polyurethane foam that is form-fitted inside the vamp and toe lining during lasting, then completed with a 430-gram polyester insulation in the quarter panel for all-season comfort. Other features of this boot include Taslan® laces, rustproof hardware, embossed tree logo and a rubber lug outsole.

My second pair of Timberlands and second of this style, first one was navy blue with angora collar (reviewed under my nickname Aloy), size 7.5 and now they seem tight for me. I needed a good waterproof boot for college, since I don\'t wear athletic shoes, and I got these, chocolate color, size 8.5. I\'ve been wearing boots for four years and I have a small collection of them - in addition to the two Timbs I have a pair of CATs and a pair of combat boots I got prior to my CAdT training in high school. Anyway, these Timbs surpassed my expectations... again. Although my second pair was made in China as opposed to my first, made in the Dominican Republic, it matched, if not went beyond, the first pair\'s quality. Even a week in college can cause serious misery to a pair of shoes, but my Timbs held. Rain and mud didn\'t even do anything to them - they came out still clean! My only problem now is a scuff on the right boot that won\'t come off, and I think I may have gotten a half size too big. I\'m a 7 and my shoes are 8, but anticipating further growth (I\'m seventeen) we got the 8.5 to accommodate my growing feet. Best thing to do is wear bulky socks, but other than that, I\'m happy I returned to Timberland, and I\'m proud to say I\'ll still continue doing so in the future. \r\n

I had my first pair of Timberland boots in 1990. They were superb. Once they had been broken in they were incredibly comfortable. For the next 12 or so years all I bought and wore were Timberland boots. On average, with tough daily wear, the boots would last 18 months before being worn out. I was a huge fan. After a few years of not wearing Timbies I bought another pair in 2006. All I can say is that they are not a patch on the Timbies of the 1990s. They have worn out in 4 months and are nowhere near as comfortable as they used to be. I must have owned at least 20 pairs of Timbies in my life and used to be evangelical about them...Sadly; I cannot recommend this once great brand anymore.

THE all-time best, classic boot. Everytime, I have owned a pair of Timberlands they never fail to amaze me as the best boot I've ever owned. They take a lot of beating (rain, mud, lots of wear) and always come out looking great. Not to mention they are terrifically comfortable for being a boot, heavier than a shoe but not excessively so. The inside is soft and comfortable on the arch, and there is plenty of room to move one's toes. I wear ten and a half but tens are more than sufficient for me. The quality in this boot cannot be beat and my feet never get wet even here in one of the rainiest and most puddle-laden cities in the country.

A tough boot that takes some time to love! I got these as a present in mid-2006, and at first I was NOT happy with them. I had a pair of prematurely worn Merrell hiking boots that these boots were replacing. At first, they were nowhere near as comfortable or light as the Merrells. But, after about 4 months of use and putting an insole in them, I LOVE these things! I regularly walk 3 miles one way to my work in them, and they can't be beat for ruggedness or comfort over that distance! Would I buy again? In a heartbeat! I didn't think anything would beat my Merrells. But these did the trick!

My ordinary shoe size is 7.5. I don’t have too wide or too narrow feet. 7.5 M of Fabiana is just perfect for me! I have bought the second pair of Fabiana exactly 7.5 M because I’m in love with these shoes! Perfect fit for my feet! I’ve never had such a fancy, sexy, and COMFY pair of shoes and great sizing! Thank you Zappos for that and your great service! By the way, I’d placed an order yesterday and got my shoes TODAY with no charge for shipping!!! Overall I LOVE Zappos and always tell my friends Zappos, Zappos, and ONLY Zappos!

My Brother’s favorite Boots - My Brother has been wearing this style of boot for years. I have tried buying him different styles, but he keeps coming back to this one. He likes the weight and style of it. He wears the boots with Jeans for a casual look and when they are starting to look too worn, he then uses them for work. He has a job that takes him up on roofs in all weather and the boot gives him stability and comfort. He prefers the Wheat color.

Best boot ever - When I first got these shoes they were the most uncomfortable pieces of clothing i had ever worn. After they were broken in though it was like wearing gloves for your feet. Gloves that make you feel 6 inches taller, sexier and more confident. Timberland is hands down the best boot to wear out. When it gets to a point where you can no longer keep it clean enough for party wear it still takes great punishment and is good for anything on hard ground.

Timberlands for a Brit - I bought these Timberlands for my friend in London who'd had a previous pair, but had nearly worn them out. He couldn't find any boot that was more comfortable in London, or in all of England. He walks a great deal in his job & needs comfortable, durable boots. He is extremely satisfied w/ these boots that I brought to him last month. And I am extremely satisfied w/ the great customer service that I always get at Zappos!

Very Comfortable Boot!!! I have never had a boot that feels this good. My job requires me to wear boots 10 hrs. a day. My other boots I couldn't wait to get them off. This Timberland boot is so comfortable I forget I have them on. I will never wear another type of boot made by Timberland. Four of my co-workers ordered a pair and have noticed a difference in their backs and legs. A++.

So So - Timberland makes a very durable product, just so happens that the pair that I ordered felt larger than I needed but this can be compensated with thick socks since boots are worn mostly in the colder months. This is my first pair of Tims but it surely won’t be the last. Sometimes the maker of shoes makes their product different so sizes may vary.
