| Timberland's Classic Boat Shoe is Still Outstanding - I can't remember when I bought my previous pair of Timberland Classic Two Eye Boat shoes, but it must have been about 15 years ago. For the past three or four years I've been wearing them every day, all day and they finally had to be replaced. I feel fortunate that Timberland still makes the model. The new ones fit well, and like the previous pair they feel substantial yet light and extremely comfortable. Since I'm a senior citizen, my feet have lost their natural padding on the bottom, and I could feel bumps in the forward part of the shoe beyond Timberland's half-length arch-support insole. But I routinely replace the manufacturer's insoles with Spencos full-length insoles and they completely solve my problem. My previous Timberlands had two lives: before polishing and after polishing, about 9 years and 6 years. The dull, oil-tanned natural look gave way to the shiny, more formal casual look, which was different, but OK. I expect the same will be true of the new shoes, if I live that long. | |

| GREAT shoes & Zappos is THE BEST! I bought these shoes for my husband and he absolutely loves them! We had previously purchased a couple pairs of boat shoes from L.L. Bean and because they wore out in only 2 years, we would never purchase them from there again. I had bought some Timberland socks for my husband and he liked them so much, I thought I would look for some boat shoes by the same brand. When I saw all the great reviews here for these shoes, I thought I'd give it a try. My husband has some tough feet, if you know what I mean - and I'm hoping that these shoes will last a few years. Right out of the box, he was pleased, so far so good. Just a note about Zappos: They went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my purchase. Their C.S.R.'s are top notch, indeed. I ordered these shoes Monday afternoon and they arrived Tuesday afternoon - how great is that! Amazing 5 STAR service once again - THANK YOU ZAPPOS! | |

| Great shoe! There are two versions of the Timberland Classic and both are exceptional. Without realizing that they were two different shoes, I first ordered the #7332378 and my husband immediately said it was the most comfortable shoe he had ever had on his foot. He wanted me to order a second pair, and when the second pair arrived, it was the other version of the Timberland Classic. The second version is a bit more and has a firmer, darker sole, but color and style of shoe are same. And both are excellent fit and very, very comfortable. My husband loves both. The more flexible shoe is probably better for super casual wear whereas the more structured version would be better if you wear the shoe around town. Because the flexible sole of the softer shoe gives, that version won't hold its shape as well, but that may not matter, depending on where you plan to wear the shoe. We kept both pair and my husband chooses accordingly. (Actually, we have 3 pairs because he likes them so well!) | |

| Tried and true - I recently purchased the Timberland's classic boat shoe, two eyes. I have had the same shoe model before and they lasted for 20 years, they just get softer and more comfortable over time. They hold a shine very well and work for a lot of different looks. I was so glad to see they were still available. I have had them soaked with water, I just let them dry out, put on some polish, and they looked even better if that seems possible. This is a very comfortable, well wearing shoe. Very good value for the money. It is a boat shoe however so if you need a sturdy tie shoe, look to another model. It is however the best supporting boat shoe I have ever worn. | |

| These are as good as it gets with boat moccasins. I have a half-dozen pair. The only thing I would prefer is a white sole but I haven't ever seen these with white soles. Maybe Timberland can do a white-sole version. The beauty of these shoes is there is no stitching on the soles that would otherwise let water seep in. The key is a midsole to which the outsole is cemented. | |

| 100% satisfied customer - I purchased these shoes for my husband as a gift. He is very particular about the look and quality of anything he puts on his feet. He has a very large collection of boat shoes and gives these his highest rating, including the look, comfort and fit. I was also impressed with the customer service and subsequent follow up. | |

| I bought these classic boat shoes to replace a similar pair I purchased 15-years-ago. The styling is straight forward and classic and the shoes are well made. I use them without socks and find the support excellent and the sizing true to the size marked. I hope to have these for 15 years too, though they get better with age. | |
