The best shoe - The ONLY problem is : The sole wears faster than the shoe. The benefits: Will last truely for ever 3 to 5 years wearing the shoe EVERY DAY VERY VERY comfortable No arch that hurts no leather covers that hurts Even when the shoe is worn out you can still keep for in the yard work Can wear with this jeans or short and looks very good I would not wear though for SERIOUS moutain hiking (more than a day and rocks): too lightweight and not enough protection on the side. Also not a gore tex boot. But for extreme city life and work IT IS PERFECT. I use it a lot as a contractor but I got a nail into my fit once. So, I also purchase the European model with ENS 3... (regulad steel sole and stell tow features). It is much heavier and tight due to the steel but very safe. But it is a completely another boot. My advice: BUY IT...the best on the market. You got to have a pair ... whoever you are ... especially flat feet people will enjoy it For climbers/hikers : do not buy it for more than a day hike or rock hikes 9top leather too soft in rocks ... and sole not enduring enough plus not proper ankle protection So, why do they called it Euro HIKER. Hiker is improper. Or novice hiker is OK So, I am looking now to buy a 3 rd pair (one every three year in average - but I wear them everyday) Only the sole needs improvement ... though because it is a soft sole it grips to most surface ... unless wet smooth surface. ALSO SOOOO comfortable When you buy , buying it tight is fine because leather will loosen up rapidly and fit your fit Very lightweight make that you can even play soccer or run with it...no heavy weight ... so perfect for a guy wearing them 24/7 or of course a woman with less leg strength. GREAT BUY I do not know about the more recent design EURO hikers but this old style 95100. Indeed, will never age. Hey, if you do mountan hike that is the best shoe to walk around at base camp. If it is not too much additional weight to carry in your bagpack. PS: pricey but worthy. I also tried other timberland but I found the other were VERY uncomfortable. They have a winner they better keep it available in stock for their VERY loyal customer

THE ONLY FOOTWEAR YOU WILL EVER NEED - How the other guy said they fell apart after one month is beyond me. He must have been using a chainsaw on them. I live in London England. I wear my EuroHikers every day for heavy duty motorcycle use, 365 days a year, and in all weathers. Getting on and off the bike, grinding the sole into the road surface. Bought my first pair 5 years ago in the USA. They slowly started to fit the shape of my foot perfectly. Truly the Rolls Royce of comfortable footwear. But after 2 1/2 years, the rubber lip started to come away from the body. -Started to let driving rain in. But they're still OK in the dry. 'Bought my second pair two years ago. They're doing fine. I'm preparing to buy my third pair, (just to make sure I've got an extra pair). In England, these boots are outrageously priced. Way too expensive! At the factory outlet in the USA, they cost 70 bucks. In Frisco, they cost 127 bucks. In England they cost 170 dollars plus. Buying two pair at the factory outlet in the USA, saves me the plane fare out there and back. Plus, I can do my other shopping. Come on Timberland! Give us Europeans a break. Open a factory outlet over here. Doc Martens do the same job for 50 or 60 bucks. But don't get me wrong, The 95100 EuroHiker, is truly King. Never mind the old cigarette ad "I'd walk a mile for a Camel",...I'd fly 5000 miles for a pair of 95100's.

I wanted to say that these boots have been with me from Germany and the streets London to the Appalachian Trail. I agree that these boots ARE NOT made for serious climbling, but for basic light trail scrambling they\'ll do just fine. I went on a 4 day trek on the AT a few years ago and my Timby\'s held up fine. Almost sneaker like, they don\'t require the horrid break-in times as say, a Danner. \r\n If you\'re looking for something to get you about town or for a light weekend excursion- these are the boots for you.\r\n As far as sizing goes. I wear an 11 in Nike, 11.5 in Puma and a 44N in Birkenstock and these I took an 11 in. Hope that gives you some semblance of how the sizes run. Another reviewer suggested to start off wearing them loose and I concur. Mae sure you give yourself atleast a week of indoor wear and break-in before hitting any trails.\r\n Take a chance on these and I know you won\'t feel disappointed.

Good Shoe But Beware - I just received my first pair of EuroHikers in size 13EE. I normally wear a D width but bought the EE since D was out of stock and another reviewer said they were narrower than marked. He was right. The EE fits me like a snug D. I found no arch support so removed the inserts and put in my own supports with a cushion insert on top (there is sufficient room). Now it feels fine. Don't believe the reports that the arch support is excellent (or even moderate) if you have problems with your arches (like me). You will need more. I look forward to day hiking in these otherwise fine shoes. They look great!

Bit my toe - This is my second pair of EuroHikers, the earlier pair had a softer sole that gripped better on a wet surface than this pair does. On initial wearing the right boot "bit my great toe" right where it is forming a crease across the top of the toe box area. The more I wear them the less pronounced this is becoming. I have faith that in the next few miles that will go away and they will become as comfortable as my first pair became. I think I will like this pair as much or more than the first pair because I expect the harder sole will last longer.

Men's EuroHiker Timberland good overall shoe, good value- My teenage son has had this shoe before and grew out of it so we looked for it on Zappos. Found it, no problem. My son is picky and I have learned not to buy for a 13 year old unless he says he will wear it! My son wears a 13 W and those are hard to find but easy with Zappos. Loved missing the shoe shopping and trying on! Loved swift delivery to our home! Timberland is a good overall shoe, good value and excellent Zappos service. I have now convinced my husband and skeptical teenager! Go Mom!

Loving These Boots - Yet another pair of Timberlands that I love!!!! My son has these and loved them so much I bought a pair for my husband. My son's have lasted several years. The only thing that had any wear was the laces. We called Timberland when one of the laces broke after two years looking to buy a replacement set and they sent us new laces for FREE!!! They have replaced a different style of shoes for us after they had been worn a year and tore. They stand behind all their products!! I love TIMBERLAND!!!!!!

Good Pair Of Boots- They would in no way be put in the category of serious hiking boot. More of an "Urban Hiker" kept far away from jagged rocks or ankle twisters along a trail. For the average user however a very good serviceable boot that will give you many years of service, almost the winter version of a New Balance trail runner line. But if you're looking at serious off-road trail hiking look elsewhere, Tanner, Chippewa would be my first choices. Also for the price I would have thought they would be waterproof.

ANOTHER "10" EXPERIENCE! My husband and I really liked the look of these boots and combined with the stellar reviews, ordered them on Friday, they were delivered today, and they totally lived up to the reviews others have given the boot. And, my husband is still shaking his head in disbelief over the Zappos shipping acuity! 5 STARS ALL THE WAY AROUND!

longest lasting shoe I've had. I've had these boots since my freshman year of high school, now I'm a junior in college...I've worked summers in retail and have had all compliments on the shoe, unlike other cheap shoes. The laces and insoles can be easily replaced, but the rubber and the leather is still intact.

These boots are O.K, if you were to wear them once a week. Even though the boots were used mostly on sand and turf, the soles wore down quickly. I was under the impression that the "Timberland" Company sold a quality product. Guess I should have done more research. Hats off to their marketing department.
