I wear it almost all the time! I've bought similar type steel toe hiking shoes before. They were only so-so. I purchased a pair of Timberland PRO Titan Hikers High and thought they were GREAT! So I figured I'd try a similar style in the same brand. I ordered the Mudsill's in the same size as the Titans. Just a bit small. So I asked Zappos for an exchange. Great customer service. I got the correct size a day later! The arch support isn't the greatest but then again neither are my feet. But once they were on my feet, they felt great! I have another pair of good low cut hikers but I opt for these pairs instead. Great shoes, great customer service, great price!

Because I wear a size 14 EE shoe I always have trouble finding shoes that not only fit but look good. In fact, it is impossible to walk into a local store and find decent shoes and I have always disliked ordering shoes due to the hassle of retuning them if they don't fit. Zappos has solved all of these problems for me. Not only do they have an incredible variety of shoes and sizes to choose from, their return policy has relieved any anxiety that I felt about the shoes not fitting. I was also amazed at how fast my order was processed and shipped. It took only three and a half days to get to Hawaii! Mahalo!

Great Shoe but the Tongue is a Little Uncomfortable - The shoe is excellent in many situations. I recently used the shoe in wet/icy/snowy conditions and not once did I slip. The shoe has excellent traction and is great, however, the tongue on the shoe is a little bothersome, after a hard day's work, I noticed that the shoe leaves a nice large red mark on the top of my foot. I can easily avoid this by not tightening the strings as tight, but then I feel that my control with the boots is less. Nevertheless, this boot is a solid improvement over my last pair.

Nice look, a little painful - I purchased these for my fiance because we had been looking for a steel-toed shoe that was comfortable enough for work, but also in his size (15). I was delighted to see that Zappos had his size in a sporty steel-toed shoe, but found the wide width not wide enough. He also doesn't have much ankle support as he would have liked, but keep in mind this is a low cut shoe. It’s enough for now, but will probably purchase another shoe in the future.

GREAT WORK SHOE! I got these for my husband for X-mas. He loved them right out of the box. He said all the guys at work were practically drooling over them! He works over 80 hrs. a week as a cook and he doesn't complain about achy feet anymore! The only complaint he had was the back part was rubbing on his Achilles, but that was the first night he had worn them. GREAT SHOE, GREAT PRICE!

Had these shoes for about a month and a half and must say they are pretty good.I stand in front of a machine all day and my feet and back feel pretty good when I go home.Only gets 4 stars cause I had a pair of timberlands once before and they still have not changed the shoe laces in there work shoes and for some reason they come undone-not as bad as the last pair.

These are excellent work shoes. Most of the time I work in an office, but must occasionally work on site. I wore them for a week straight right out of the box with no problems. They were totally comfortable. They are also not bulky in front. Many steel toe work shoes are sized to fit Bozo the Clown. These are compact and less likely to catch on things or trip you.

Zappos rocks! This is my first pair of "shoes" from Zappos but I have ordered 3 pairs of boots in the past and I have been nothing but happy with all of them. These shoes are light, comfortable, and durable. I like the look of them and so does my wife. Best of all I ordered these late on a Friday standard ground and still got them on Monday! Love Zappos!

I have been wearing Timberland Pros as my everyday shoes for the past 3 years. They are extremely comfortable, durable and weather-proof. The Mudsill Low, my latest pair, are the best yet. Cons: These are work shoes and achieve their toughness and safety (gripper soles, steel toes) at the cost of size and weight. They're bigger and heavier than a non-work shoe of the same size.

Awesome Shoe!!! Perfect for Work!!

This is just what I needed for work. They are very comfortable. I normally wear a size 12 in New Balance and Nike I got a 11 and it fit pretty good. I do wear a thicker sock specifically for steel toes. Overall I am very happy with them. Thinking about getting another pair to put up for when these wear out.

Terrible shoe. Haven't even owned it for a three months and they have practically fallen completely apart. The interior lining has torn everywhere. The plastic backing around the heel has bent, and scrapes my heel consistently. The fabric protecting the steel toe has come off and ruined a dozen pairs of socks. My input: do not buy this shoe. On a side note, Zappos is the bomb! 1st one I ordered was way too small, free shipping to return no delay no hassle, and free next day shipping with the right shoe size. I love Zappos. But seriously this is a horrific shoe. I know that there are countless positive reviews, and I might be unique, but this is the worst shoe I have ever purchased.

Comfy but poor

Rating:*
These boots were great after they wore in, but soon after wore out. The inside rear of the boot has fallen completely apart after only six months.
Making them difficult to put on or take off and also chafing durring the day.
