| Timberland PRO Direct Attach 6" Steel Toe - This is the first work boot I've purchased of this type, so my review might not be as accurate as some with regards to this type of boot. After some research on the internet and a visit to two retailers (one 10 miles away, another 75 miles away), I decided to purchase this pair of work boots. Per other people that have owned this shoe, they state it's the most comfortable they've worn; I'll take their word for it because as stated before, I've never owned a workboot like this. Two things drew me to purchasing this boot: Its classic workboot looks and other built-in features (steel-toe, slip resistance, electrical resistance, water resistance); a nice blend of options for what you pay. After trying on the boot, though it's marked "wide," I found it to feel a bit constrictive on the toes (my only complaint). I don't know if this is temporary (I've only worn the shoe an hour) or something more permanent, possibly due to the steel toe feature. I've worn other types of steel toed shoes (I work in the fire service), this "wide" pair felt a bit narrow in the toes by comparison, especially on one side. Everything else about this boot is true to description (size, style...). My plan is to wear this boot a bit longer before I make a final decision; otherwise it seems to be a great boot with a lot of nice features. I'm basically happy that I bought this boot and hope that as I wear it; the narrowness in the toes works itself out. | |

| 5 years - great boot - I have had these boots for 5 years now and they have been through tough conditions. I mainly use them for when I ride my motorcycle in the rain but they work for paintball or working around the yard. Waterproofing is perfect, it has never let water in and that is not an easy feat at 70mph for three hours in a downpour. I have crashed twice and the steel toe did it's job saving my toes after my leg was caught under the bike. Sole still has plenty of grip after about 80,000 miles and still grips when I need it, even at the oily tool booth. | |

| Satisfied Customer - First off I'd like to applaud Zappos on how incredibly fast their shipping is. I ordered these tims Wednesday and got them Friday (Thursday was Thanksgiving). The boots fit great. I'm a size 9.5 in new balance so I ordered the 9.5 and these boots fit great. They're perfect work boots and they're comfortable enough to walk around in on a daily basis. Where I live we get lots of snow in the winter. These are also a good winter boot. They are insulated and waterproof and I have been very happy with them so far. Overall a great boot. | |

| Finally, no more cold, wet feet!!! At last, an answer. How many times have cold, wet aching feet taken you off the job?? Well for me it was all the time, plus sick time. Now, TIMBERLAND PRO has done something about this. They make this work boot with direct attach soles so there are no seams to leak. And, talk about comfort, I can stay at work for all the overtime there is. Thanks | |

| The best and most comfortable work boots! My husband decided to try this type of boot for work; he works 12 hrs on his feet. He is picky and wants comfortable boots. He said they are the most comfortable boots he'd ever had, and he like's the style. Timberland is a great way to go when buying shoes, we've bought 4 pairs in the last 3 yrs, and they are the best... | |

| Performed well under trying conditions! I used these boots briefly as a contractor in Iraq. They were great once broken in. My main complaint is that the steel toes make it difficult to go through airport security. Zappos was also extremely supportive in dealing with the challenges involved in shipping products to APO addresses. I cannot rate their support and customer service highly enough. | |

| Great Boots for Fall & Winter! This is my 1st time of buying/investing in a pair of Timberland PRO boots. I'm impressed. They do keep your feet toasty warm during the cold months up here in Michigan. They are mostly comfortable and as far as style goes, they go great with jeans or khakis. Well worth the $100+! | |

| I bought these boots after failing to find any woman's boots that were waterproof with steel toe and thinsulate. I found them easy to break in and quite comfortable. However, they do seem wider than marked and I also would prefer if they if they had hooks at the top rather than lacing all the way up. | |

| Great boots - I think these boots look cool and rugged without having the "ghetto" look of regular Timberland work boots. They work great for wet, muddy conditions. My only complaint is that the steel toes chafe, but that's probably my fault for not buying a pair of steel-toe boot socks. So I'm gonna go do that. | |

| Sturdy Boot - stiff at first, but soon softened - The first pair were slightly too tight so I switched up half a size and they are perfect now. They were slightly stiff to start with but soon softened up after a few days. I wear them everyday - they are a great work boot. | |

| Could've been a 5 star - Shoe bottom needlessly hard and the shoe laces will not stay tied. Buying grippier shoe laces and softer foot insoles would probably help but why the need in the first place? | |

| Well Made. Comfortable. Heavy! The boots are nicely made. They are just very heavy. | |
