I had been looking for a pair of DOC MARTENS because I wanted something that was comfortable, with a bad-ass style. Although the Docs have the look I want, I just couldn\'t find a comfortable pair that fit correctly.. their shoes run big and listing them primarily in UK sizes only adds to the confusion. Plus the arch support on the Docs was non-existent.\r\n\r\nSo, I\'m still hoping to find a good pair of Docs one day, but in the meantime I needed something that would work. I ordered these Timberlands from Zappos based on the reviews. I placed my order last night at 7 PM and (no kidding) UPS brought them to me this morning at 9 AM!! From KENTUCKY to VERMONT in 12 hours -- for free.\r\n\r\nAnyway, I just opened the box and put them on and I am pleasantly surprised. Maybe it\'s premature... I\'ll have to wear them some more, but they\'re COMFORTABLE and there is some ARCH SUPPORT. The upper holds my heels in place. They\'re fairly LIGHT. SO FAR, SO GOOD... I guess they\'re not insulated, which I hope won\'t be a problem...that\'s what wool socks are for. So, if you\'re on the fence, give these bad boys a try!!!

No hype, the real deal - I used to buy my boots from a store, thinking that paying $85 and over for boots was a lot of hype and a waste of money until I ended up on my feet for 8+ hours, so I decided to treat my feet right. I bought these boots based on the reviews, and all I have to say is that I'm a believer. I’ve had these boots for 4 months and I live in the tropics where it's always hot and humid, but with a pair of moisture wicking socks these boots feel even better, so at the end of a long day I'm a happy man. You can spend less $$ on cheaper boots, but if you use them for a living you'll probably be sorry.

Well…the deliverly by Zappos…GREAT and FAST!! The boot is not as comfortable as I anticipated, but still is comfortable. I like the boot though, I'm hoping this will change when they get fully broken in, time will tell! The boot looks great, feels true to size and width. Feels durable. Time will tell if the boot lives up to the hype! My feet hope it does!!! Look for part two of my review to find out more

Great for work! My husband loves this boot for work. This is his second pair and after wearing the last pair for 13 months (for work 5 days a week). I finally made him get another pair! He was perfectly happy with his old ones after all of that time because the sole never wore down and the antimicrobial liner kept them from getting stinky! All in all a great boot!

1 or 2 flaws - Comfort is way up there. Need no time to break in. One flaw is this orange plastic thing on the heel. It lies under the cushion. If the cushion slips a little, the plastic hurts. Don’t know if it will soften in the future, I hope it does. Lastly, hate the laces, feel like I’m going to break them. Other than that, love the shoe.

These boots are very comfortable to wear. I am on my feet 8+ hours a day and I find my feet not getting tired being on them at the end of the day. I do recommend these boots to someone who is on their feet all day. They are a good looking boot and I will purchase them again in the near future.

Second time around - I bought this second pair for my husband. The first pair was bought about a year or so ago. My husband loves it a lot. It takes a little time to get breaking in but he said they're super comfortable. He bugged me to get the second one for him, one working and one riding.

The soft toe suits my purposes much better since I work on my knees frequently and the steel toes cut into my feet. I wear them hard and they only last about 9 months. Hope they keep making them ‘til I can retire. These have been the only brand of boot I can wear comfortably. They're great.

Amazing!! Love the boots but even more than that, I love Zappos super fast delivery!! Ordered these on Sunday night around 10 pm. Next morning when I woke up I had an email saying they had already shipped. The boots were delivered on Tuesday. Amazing!! Boots are the same great quality I've come to expect with Timberland.

A great boot for the money. As a telephone man I’m on my feet all day. These are probably the most comfortable boots I have owned. I usually have these boots on for about 11 hrs a day. I will certainly buy another pair when these wear out. The nubuck is great looking.

Timberland Pro's - They are a decent pair of boots for work. For me, they did not have the support I need in the ankle. Also I found that I did not like the way the lacing is set up. I would have done better if you could pull them tighter a little lower in the boot, instead of at the first (eyelet). Still I would recommend trying them, as they are a reasonable price.
