| Solid, Comfortable Work Boot - I bought this boot for work - I've been doing a job as a landscaper for a few months now. Up until this point I was wearing old sneakers - all I can say is, I'll never do that again! These boots are supportive, extremely comfortable, roomy, tough (as usual for Timberland), waterproof and required almost no break-in. I am now sturdier on my feet and have more foot protection. The boots had to be waterproof because I often work with a huge irrigation system and in the rain... They hold up wonderfully in all conditions. Always sturdy, always supportive and comfortable. Zappos, as usual were fantastic - they always deliver overnight. And they always have what I want in my size for a change! (15). | |

| Job Site Worker - Before these pair of boots I was working on the construction site in a pair of running shoes. Never again! This boot broke in smoothly by the second day, kept my feet dry from muddy trenches and moderate downpour. I find the comfort of the boots along with the ankle stabilization has been amazing. I also see using these boots for day hikes in the woods but I'll use my other hiking boot for steep declines. I say this because even when I lace these up correctly I feel on steep declines my toes shift forward in the toe box, touching the end of the boot. Half size may fix this... Overall great purchase for what I needed. (3 weeks owned) | |

| Timberland's does it again - I was looking for an overall working boot and I looked no further than Timberland's. My previous pair of Timberlands was purchased eight years ago and I still use them. This shoe provides great protection, comfort, stability, and even good looks with practically anything you wear year round. Won't use them for running, of course, but hiking at your nearest state park, building a deck, helping a friend move, gardening in the rain/mud, or anytime you want more protection and strength than just a regular running shoe... these are it! | |

| Best value for the money - Sure, you can pay $200.00 or more for a pair of boots, but for less than half that you can have boots that are the high priced equal!! I wear mine day in and day out in all kinds of weather, on concrete, rough, non-skid metal, etc. and they hold up!! Plus they are waterproof(really warerproof)! This is my third pair of Timberlands (in 6 years) and each pair fit the same. Sizing is consistanyly excellent. P.S. You wont want to take them off at the end of the day!! | |

| Thumbs up to the Timberland White Ledge Mid Waterproof - They felt comfortable and true to size right out of the box. I find them to be very light and true to their claim of being waterproof. I was forced to put them to the test just a couple of days after receiving them. Submerged in water and caked in mud, my feet stayed dry and the boots were easily cleaned. I am very pleased with the boots and would recommend them to anyone wanting a boot that backs up what it promises. | |

| Work shoes - I purchased my first pair of Timberland's 30 months ago as an everyday work shoe. My first pair still looks good and functions well. It stood up well to the elements and cleans up to an almost new appearance. Needing to replace my old pair, Timberland was my first on only choice. I expect the same or better performance from my newest selection. Good look, good comfort, good shoe. | |

| Wore very well! I bought a pair of these last year. they were a great pair of work shoes for me. Plenty of shock absorption, nicely waterproof and they wore pretty well considering I walk on pavement most of my day. Testament to dryness... I worked outside during the Southern Cal. flood in 01/05...in 2" to 6" water... feet never got wet!!! I recommend the value in this shoe. | |

Great, Comfortable Hiking Boots

| Short hikes, normally wear 5 days per week due to comfort and weight(light). Toes get a little cold when temps go below 20, with one pair socks. No problems with construction or material. If sides are busting out of these shoes you must need a wider type or your walk is not normal (comment from another reviewer). Everyday wear and no problems for 18 months. | |

| I didn't have time to break my boots in since they arrived later than I had expected, but that didn't matter. The first time I used them was on a 10 mile hike up to Harney Peak in the Black Hills. Most of this trail was steep and rocky. The boots performed wonderfully with my feet feeling great both during and after the hike. | |

Awesome Work Boot | |

| Tough, rugged work boots. I spend a lot of time climbing and inspecting roofs; these boots have a good sticky sole that really lasts a long time. I wear these every day for work & they usually last about 6 months. I wear out the sole before anything else- the rest of the boot continues to look great. | |

Timberland Not-So-Waterproof Boots

| While very comfortable right out of the box they "lost" their ability to keep water out after about a month of use. I walk outdoors three to four times a week, usually in the mornings when dew is present, rain or shine. I need to keep my feet dry. These boots did great for about three weeks to a month then water started seeping in. Now my feet get wet after walking in light dew. Not very pleased at all. I guess Gore-tex is the only reliable breathable water barrier available. | |

| Work Boot - I wear these as a work boot and they are really comfortable, since I stand up almost the whole time at work. Being water proof helps a great deal as well since I work outdoors. | |

I know I am hard on my boots, but....

| I work outdoors most of the time, and I wear my boots every day. This is the second pair of these that I have purchased. Both pairs have lasted me less than 8 months. They are extremely comfortable, with minimal break in time, but they just can't hold up. The pair I am wearing now was purchased 6 months ago, and the sides are so blown out that I can't wear them if I have to walk on anything but concrete or I will get soaking wet. The price is nice, and they feel good, but I want my boots to last at least a year or two. | |

| I work outside. I found out very quickly that the Mid Waterproof Timberland's did not stand up to what was advertised! | |
