| Just what the doctor ordered - I already own two timbuk2 bags so I am prejudiced. In fact, I thought it would be decadent to have a third. But it turns out there is a timbuk2 bag for every season, and for every occasion. I put away my brightly colored summer totes (for travel and the beach) and adopted this more subdued but still nifty tri-color purple messenger -- it's just the right size for me (a smallish woman) so there's not too much shoulder strain. Good for the essential books, papers, phone etc plus some snacks and lunch. And it has all the great pockets, key thingy and other features of the other timbuk2 bags. Plus with Zappos great shipping policy, I could order it in two colors and then return the one I didn't want. What could be bad?! | |

| Timbuk2 small messenger bag - Timbuk2 makes an excellent messenger bag. It holds darn near everything you can think of and then some. I got the copper/orange/copper colored small bag for both its vibrant color (hey, I tend to forget stuff that fades into the background) and utilitarian use. I have to carry around a good deal of stuff to and from work, but I didnt want a bulky backpack. I have been using a re-useable shopping bag but they keep ripping. So I looked around and found Timbuk2 messenger bags. It has a spacious inner compartment (for an appointment book and some other stuff) with several pockets for things like cell phone and reading glasses. Hey that works for me. | |

| Smallest Timbuk2 you can get with the longer strap length - I bought this for my boyfriend who is tall and thin but muscular. I originally bought the x-small size but when he put it on it wedged in under his armpits because the strap was too short. I had the hardest time trying to find pictures of men actually wearing the bag and it took me forever to make a decision. It would have been helpful to know what the strap length was but not even the Timbuk2 website tells you that (XS=42"/S-XL=48"). Of course ordering from Zappos was the only way to go - it was easy to return as usual. | |

| I love this little bag. I bought it for a Euro-trip and it\'s perfect to hold all my supplies for a day while traveling around on foot. I\'ve also been using it a ton at home for all sorts of things. It\'s small without being too small to hold anything. I can fit my netbook, my sunglasses, an extra long sleeve shirt, umbrella, and some food and still have room to store things. It has lots of zippered pockets and TONS of storage space for being such a small bag. Plus, it\'s durable as hell! | |

| BEST MESSENGER! Timbuk2 makes the absolute best messengers!!! They are super strong and very stylish. The color combinations are beautiful as well. If you want something more suited to the office, get the basic black :) The small size is perfect for a binder, a book, a notebook, and all daily essentials. If you have a small laptop, you could fit that, but not the binder and book :) For comfort, however, make sure to get a padded shoulder strap or else the bag will really hurt your shoulder. | |

Great bag but slips | |

| When I first got this bag I loved at how many different compartments it had and the detail put into it by the company. I'm sure the bag would have lasted me well into my grandkids days with how well built it is. The only issue I had was that it would slip to easy when commuting on my bike. Even when I tried to use a stabilizer strap it would give me issues. I'm sure it works for some people but not me. I returned it. | |

Greatest Bag Ever. | |

| This bag is sort of my man purse. I don't carry it every day, but if I'm going to be out and about, I'll pack it with books, my camera, my packable raincoat, a bottle of water, whatever I might need. The zipper pocket is great for traveling since it's pretty much impossible for a pickpocket to gain entry without your knowledge. The bag is an indispensable piece of travel gear, especially when going overseas. | |

| Just right - Although it is the small bag every thing seems to fit in it (within reason). The organization pockets work great, enough to be useful, but few enough that I can find things without looking. I use it every day to bring my things to work. In all black it is good looking and does not look purse like (which is good because I am a male). Works great for me! | |

| Classic But Cool - This is my 2nd Timbuk2 bag, so obviously I have an affection for the brand. It's roomy enough for all my crap, but doesn't weigh the bag down. I bought it primarily for the plum color. I'm not a handbag type of gal, but the color makes this classic bag a bit feminine. By the way, Zappos has the cheapest price on Timbuk2 bags. Thanks Zappos! | |

This is an amazing bag! | |

| This is an amazing, lightweight bag! It fits binders and books perfectly without being bulky or having too much room. It won't weigh you down! I'm a small person and most bags end up too heavy for me, but this one is the perfect size. I highly recommend this bag to anyone who needs something bigger than a purse, but smaller than a backpack or commuter bag. | |

| "This is a very well made little bag. My only wish was that it had more organizational pockets and a bit longer strap. I was actually pleasantly surprised though at the size of the inner zipper pocket - its plenty large to hold the things like my wallet that I want to keep zipped. Its a bit pricey but it will last forever so its worth it! This is the perfect size for a day out if I dont need tons of stuff - will fit a notebook." | |

| "A fantastic bag! Im an engineering student and I can carry a 1 inch binder, two composition notebooks, a 14.1 inch laptop, my mp3 player and a large set of Grado headphones around a large campus without any problems or painful shoulders. Its comfortable, the fabric looks great (brown/orange/brown), and its really durable both inside and out. I would highly recommend this bag, even though the price tag looks a little steep at first glance." | |

| "I love this bag. It seems to be durable (I have been using it for ~2 weeks). The organizational pockets are useful. I used them to separate my little stuff from my notebooks and folders. The shoulder pad is comfortable but there is no grip on the pad so it does not stay in place if you move around a lot. Overall, it works well for me." | |

| "I love my Timbuk2 bag so much I bought a second one in XS to use as a purse. The shoulder strap is very comfortable, my books fit in perfectly, there are enough pockets but not too many. In the wet Pacific Northwest the weatherproof material and construction are a must." | |
| Anonymous Customer from Bellingham, WA at eBags.com on 10/05/2009 | |
| "Love the item except the shoulder strap will not stay on your shoulder. I use it for camera and day outings but you almost need to keep over your head to stay on. Needs some sort of grip on pad. I will look for 3rd party since I love the bag." | |
