Excellent Product

This is an excellent stove for hiking and backpacking. While a little bit on the heavy side for a lone walker, it's perfect for 2-3 people. Without the flame regulator, a 1.5L pot of water boils quickly enough to feed everyone a few courses without sitting in the cold between rounds of pasta/beans, etc.

The non-stick surface is a godsend, although it does make packing a little bit of a process for fear of scratching the coating (plastic between the pan and pots, and a baggie for the fuel canister and pot holder).

I couldn't be happier with how well the stove works. It's compact, foolproof, and keeps water boiling even with 40+ mph wind. Being able to make pot after pot of hot tea, using surprisingly little fuel, when the temperatures dropped unexpectedly low during a recent hike in the Whites kept us from having to cut the trip short (warmed an ill-prepared friend).

My only real complaint is that the bowls do not hold heat very well, so food cools off quickly. This is to be expected though given how thin they are. I suppose the trade-off would be a heavier stove, but bringing along an insulated mug/thermos for all-purpose use is probably a better solve.
