Better than most

I have 6 of these radios. These are about as private as you can get next to Military encripted radios. Setting up the individual private channels is easy to do. To have someone listen to your conversations is next to nil, They have to be beside you, have in possession 1 of your radios or spend $6-7,000 for a special scanner and be within a half mile of you to get your codes.
I had my nephew and his son try them out and were good up to 3/4 mile, and did not have the chance to go out further.
If you want REAL private communications - you will want a set of these radios. Terrain is a factor but after having these radios who would want a 22 channel open to anyone type of radio?

Great, Love it!

The two way radio is wonderful use at work. My staff love them and they work throughout the building. Thus far we have not had any problems or complaints. The custodian staff plan to purchase as well.
