Positive Reviews:

most comfortable undershorts ever

Rating:*****
I wanted another pair of compression shorts to prevent chafing on long hikes. I got this length over the longer ones b/c I thought the longer ones would be too long. However, these are JUST long enough to cover the part of my upper thighs that usually chafe. The longer ones would have been a safer bet. With that said, though, these are the most comfortable pair I own (I have another, older, pair of UA's and a pair from Target). I've used them a couple times and they are so comfortable you don't even know you're wearing compression shorts. The extra material in the area that matters makes all the difference - no more 'adjusting' throughout the day. You won't be disappointing with these!
Vegas Outdoorsman at REI on 06/06/2008

Simply the best

Rating:*****

These are by far the best boxers I own. Most undershorts let you know they are there; they get too sweaty, maybe they bunch up, your junk is compressed to tightly or moves around too much, but these are so comfortable you don't even notice them. I've worn them on hikes, climbs, biking, walking, elliptical trainer, they never disappoint. I own other Under Armour compression shorts and briefs - they work, but not as comfortably as the Boxer Jock. If they weren't so expensive I'd fill my underwear drawer with the Boxer Jocks. Love the sizing too - Large is 33-35, which is perfect if you are a 34 waist; fit much better than the usual 32-34 or 34-36 options.

Superb

Rating:*****

I love these. They run true to the sizing chart. They whisk away moisture and they maintain a compression fit for long periods of time. They are very comfortable as well. They dry out quickly as well. I've crossed rivers and creeks in just these to keep my gear dry, and in no time these are dry again. I have a pair for every day of the week and still plan on getting more and they all look almost brand new. When worn for long periods of time they aren't too bad but what doesn't get smelly after a few days. Hot or cold these are great. And for the performance they are quite a bargain.

Yeah, baby!

Rating:*****
Remember the diner scene with Meg Ryan in "When Harry Met Sally" -- Yes! Yes! Yes! Tighty, whitey (usually cotton) guy who hates boxers -- bunches and no support. Have always had problem with chafing and, (embarrassed) ahem, jock itch. Bought this product based on previous reviews. Gave them a serious workout today: quick 4 mi. hike with 2,000' gain in heat and humidity -- then I mowed the yard and pulled the weeds! No chafing. No heat. No wetness. Very comfortable. Jewels nicely guarded and - bonus points - wife likes the looks. Kinda pricey, but what do I care -- I'm not going to work this hard every day.

If things go well I might be showing her my O-face

Rating:*****

Dude, wow. Boxer briefs are probably the best invention post the aston martin v12 vantage. But these under armor briefs? Sr71 Blackbird. Put these on in the morning, do whatever the hell you do in the day and you will see just how great these are. Never a fuss adjust like with cotton undies, and I havent ever had to pull em up or whatever youd do. I dont know man, all I know is chicks dig em, you can run, hike, jump, flex, romp, bang.. whatever you want to do comfortably. You can probably do in these, never tried ice skating in em though.. A+ dude, buy it dude!

Silky Smooth...ahhhh!

Rating:*****

What a great boxer! They’re silky smooth and provide great support. They also do a great job at wicking away moisture which keeps the fellas from feeling like it’s a swamp down yonder. I’ve worn them on a few hikes and they do a great job. But I mostly wear them for softball. They provide great support but could have a little more compression around your quads. I’m also thinking that I’m going rock them this winter under my icebreaker base layer this winter to give the boys some extra support, warmth, and wicking power. I’d recommend them to anyone so get em’, your boys will thank you.

Amazing Boxers

Rating:*****
I think that these are the best Boxers EVER i mean i bought 2 pairs for only [$] There Great and sometimes they can ride up but not that much i do alot of sports such as:Track,Horse Riding, Tennis, Lacrosse, Swimming and these are good because they dont make my Legs Chafe'. I think that the 9 inch ones are better because they dont ride up at all the 6 inch ones do a little but thats alright and also Make sure you choose the right size and color that you Need/Want! And thats all i have to say about these Amazing Boxers

Only drawers I wear!

Rating:*****
As I get older I am more picky... and given the importance of the cargo in question, why pinch pennies when it comes to underwear? I have become a fabric snob and try my best not to wear cotton in any clothing that touches my skin when I'll sweat. So I went in search of drawers that would meet those requirements. I tried these (the long ones) and Exofficio's boxer jock. The UA ones win hands down! Supportive, wick away sweat quickly, and no compression. I am sold! I threw away all my tighty whiteys and these are all I own!

I'm a fan

Rating:****

Been using Patagonia underwear for years and they recently changed the design so I've had to look elsewhere. After much deliberation I finally decided on these. Extremely comfortable, the waist band is amazing since it doesn't fold over. That's one of my biggest pet peeves with underwear. You can barely tell you have these on. The only problem I've seen with them is that they tend to ride up a bit when they're new. It goes away after use but the first couple of uses you might get some riding up. Overall a great pair of boxer briefs

Aaron Roberts at Backcountry.com on 02/15/2010

So breathable, it feels good!

Rating:*****

Not much to say about boxers, but these here ... are amazing ... mesh front pocket setup keeps my stuff from getting all nasty like everyone else has rated, the material is a serious thin but quality contruction that helps keep me from getting chaffed on long hot days, dries insanely fast ... I won't use anything else backpacking ... and even ordering more to simply wear around the house ... they are that good ... Another note, they remain tight after days of use and unlike one person said ... they don't retain odor ...

NOT BAD BUT NOT WORTH THE PRICE

Rating:**

Good fit and comfortable, but does not give the support I hoped for. A pair of fruit of the loom or jockey briefs does the same trick for one third the price.

Would not recommend spending the money for these Under Armor Boxer-briefs.

Ride up

Rating:*
These shorts feel good until you start walking, then they ride up on you in 2 seconds. The rest of your day is spent picking out elastic super wedgies.
