When you're traveling around in search of the perfect powder, you want one jacket in your pack, not three. The Vans Men's Cashman Threefer Jacket uses a removable fleece hoody to sooth packing and layering dilemmas. On clear, cool days when all you need is a little warmth and wind protection, wear the 120-gram fleece liner by itself. Snap the liner and shell together for killer protection when a nasty storm is raging-the shell's 10K-rated fabric, fully taped seams, hood, and powder skirt keep snow-spray off and out of your jacket. For wet, warm bluebird days in the park, just pull on the shell and open the Underarm zips.

| Been showboarding for about 13 seasons now...just recently bought this jacket off of Geartrade.com for $40. (If you lookin for new and used gear for cheap check out that site). I would say that it is a good jacket. I havent worn it yet but it seems to be decently warm. NOTE. this jacket is very very baggy. i got a medium and the sleeves go about and inch or two past my finger tips and it extends about half way down to my knees. It must be made to be baggy because the liner fits me nice and snug. the shell is the only thing baggy. The advantage of this is on very cold days you can fit a few extra layers in there without lookin all puffy like a rookie with no style. I would say that this jacket is clearly worth the $40 i paid for it. However, it may not be worth the msrp 0f 250 or even the common reduced price of 150. other companies put out similar products for roughly the same price. I would strongly suggest that you see this product in person before you spend a ton of money on it. mostly because of the sizing issue. I have always worn mediums and this one seems to be big on me. i know its the style (the jacket has some style to it) but at the same time who wants to be a kite in the air when the winds blowin. we have all been there right? if your gonna buy online. buy the size that normally fits you. if you go smaller because of the 'bagginess' of the shell, the liner may be to small for you. Have fun shredin and always pray for more snow.....PEACE | |

| I thought that i got a really good deal on a jacket, but I'm not so sure about it anymore. The inner liner jacket seems a little flimsy. The outer is a lot baggier than i was expecting. I haven't used it yet, but i'm curious how well it will hold up in harsh weather...I'm skeptical, for now. Not many pockets on the inside. Powder skirt and are not removable. Otherwise, the jacket seems nice....just not as nice as i thought it would be. | |
