Classical Shoes | |

Vans has been in the game since 66' and these kicks are classic. They are really comfy and the easiness of slip on and off is great. The tongue uses an elastic on the sides to keep them tight and allow ease of entry. I find that these fit about .5 big, like all vulk sole sneakers. I normally wear a 10 in something like nike dunks or cup sole skate shoes. I am rocking a 9.5 in these and I like it.

I worked at a Cub Scout camp over the summer and on one Day we had to wear yellow (not the best decision on the BSA's part) and I decided I needed something to match my bright yellow T-Shirt so I bought the yellow/Black Checkerboard pattern of the Vans Classic Slip-on Shoes and they made the Day way more exciting. Then I wore them as Water shoes while Tubing In Island Park Idaho. and They worked great, I would suggest real water shoes, but they were just fine, and the best part is that they still have no rips, Tears, or anything falling apart on these, which to me is amazing in itself.

I recently bought a pair of these as dedicated skateshoes. I am a longboarder, so lots of protection and cushioning aren't really necessary for me, but mobility and comfort are key. This shoe provides, with great traction, a flexible sole and good security on your foot despite have no laces. Cross steps, peter pans, nose manuals, and chopping wood is unbelievably comfortable and easy with these shoes. Not to mention they look awesome! I got the black and yellow checkered print. A fantastic buy for longboarding.

A review, and a question.

I got the pure whites and a whole lot of compliments along with them. They were killer for a few months, but eventually got dirty. Don't use bleach, it'll stain them yellowish. They have held up for about a year now, after heavy amounts of skating, walking, and regular wear-and-tear, and they're holding up like a military grade tank. They're wearing down and getting beat up, but they are the best shoes I've ever had. Really comfy. Don't think twice about getting these!

Grandpas love Vans | |

I'm a 58 year old grandpa and must say that these Vans are comfortable! I wear them on the boat, chasing grandkids or just casual hanging around the golf course with the boys. I get lots of comments from all ages. I love them and now have them in all kinds of colors (even camo). Hell, I might grab the old skateboard out of the garage! Backcountry did me good! Thanks.

I use these in my toe clips on my bike that I ride around the city and they are sweet. There's no laces, so there's nothing to catch on the clips when you slip them in. Makes for easy mounts and dismounts, especially if you are riding fixy and need it to be quick and easy. Plus they're just retro and awesome.

Rockin' the Vans Like Jeff Spicoli

I'll never stop wearing these. Every time I wear a pair out, I buy another pair. Comfortable and convenient. I live in Japan as well where I have to remove my shoes all the time. With these, I can respect the local customs without fumbling around with laces and rock some fly shoes at the same time ;)

Gotta Love the Classic | |

Classic shoe for everyday kickin' it. Super comfy for all day wear, but easy off when you get to the beach and you wanna throw them off into the truck. Tons of different prints and colours to suit your own particular style, and you can even get on the Van's website to fully customize it. SO SICK!

Whether you are trying to relive the glory of Fast Times at Ridgemont High, or just looking for something that is easy on the feet and the eyes this is a great shoe for you. I recently saw someones grandpa walking out of a Safeway sporting a pair, and I must admit I dug his style

The Vans Classic Slip on. Need I say more! How can you pass up wearing a shoe that slides on and off with no need of laces. Get the old folks talking about your style with "back in the day" stories of how cool Vans still are. Buy two pair. Just that cool.
