The Zapato del Barco is a vintage old style boat/deck shoe made from all canvas and given a rough edge for a worn look. The metal eyelets allow for the laces to slide easily around the shoe and make lace up a breeze. Padded insole for comfort and vulcanized sole.

| Out of the box, these are the best fitting Vans I have ever owned. I haven't bought a pair of Vans in 4 years but I still wear my other pairs around. In the past Vans have been a little narrow for my feet and would need a good breaking in but these fit my feet perfectly. I bought them in my normal size. Maybe there is some inconsistencies between different sizes. I wear 11 1/2s. Personally I've never needed to get Vans a size down. I've had to get them 1/2 a size up numerous times in the past though. | |

| Alternative boat shoes :) Love the look and feel of these shoes. super comfortable, if a little stuffy (wear them with low socks if you're going to be in them all day. I got the white ones with blue trim, and I love the coloring overall. I ordered a size down, as I usually do with Vans, and that was perfect. they feel more like a C width. Oh, and Zappos upgraded me to next-day air shipping which is obviously a fantastic surprise. If you're thinking about alternatives to the boat shoes everyone is wearing, go for these! | |

The Vans Zapato Del Marco is one of the greatest shoes ever. If you are looking for a great shoe that will add style to your wardrobe, purchase a pair of Zapatos. These are the classic Vulc skate style shoe with a boat shoe upper and lacing system. The sole is a technical Razor Cut siping to ensure traction on any surface, wet or dry. Did I mention they were comfortable? If you really want to class it up get rid of the socks. | |

| EXCELLENT!!! I ordered these shoes in my normal size, and had to send them back because vans do run a bit big. I got the new size the next day with no issues!!! These shoes are so comfortable; I can wear them without socks and not worry about blisters! They look tiny and are just a great shoe to have especially during summer! The old schools are also a typical great choice. Zappos is great and super reliable! | |

| This is the second pair of Vans shoes I've bought. The first was so super I decided to try another pair and they, too, fit and feel like they were hand-made for my feet the very first time I put them on. Size-wise and width-wise they are true and look so neat on with or without socks. | |

| Definitely consider ordering a 1/2 size down. They fit perfect after reading prior reviews and went with their suggestions. Zappos also upgraded to next day shipping for free which was a sweet bonus. I received them the very next day in the am. Zappos FTW!! | |
