Walked a long way in these

I've logged just upwards of 200 miles in my Vasque and they're great. I've got some issues with blisters on one of my feet that I take care of with a little preparational cloth tape. When I was in the Smokies in October there had just been a heavy snow and everyone I met at the shelters had the same version of these but with the Gore-Tex liner. Their feet were just as soaked as mine but these dry faster and easier than the Breeze GTX. As long as it's a dry day these shoes will stay dry. You get in a puddle and before you know it they're not wet anymore. I also hiked the Georgia section of the Bartrum in three days of non-stop rain and they did alright.

Best warm weather hiking boot out there, Awesome in all respects.

Awesome so far. Great quality materials, broke-in quick, comfy right out of the box. Nice feel, stiff and solid, but still plush. Vents almost as well as my old Velocity trail runners. Look to get a lot of mileage out of them, and so far they are inviting miles of craggy rock laden trails. Excellent traction, and enough flex to grip loose or slick stuff on steep grades. Fit is excellent, wide enough, and and enough volume for a high arch. Very neutral in gait, with enough cushion to keep my typical underpornation at bay. Don't clean mud real well, but I got them more mileage in sandy, rocky conditions for hot Socal daily up and down. Best ventilated boot you'll find, period, with a lot more

Multipurpose Boots

I bought these for the price because I had a ton of other supplies I had to buy for a canyoning trip last year. They really surprised me. I've used them for hiking Pikes Peak and through Yosemite Valley, however the most enjoyable trip regarding these boots was my 5 day trek through Paria Canyon. I didn't anticipate using them much because of the river, but my watershoes were torn to pieces by day 2. I was able to wade through the frigid water with these and though it was heavy, the combination of these and my seal socks kept my feet warm. They also have amazing grip even wet.

Yeah, this boot is awesome

I purchased these boots 4 years ago and they're still awesome. I have used these for countless camping and backpacking trips and I've never had any problems. I went backpacking at Philmont for 11 days and they held up great. The boots are somewhat water proof in that I've walked through some shallow streams and my feet did not get wet. I convinced some of my friends and my band director to buy these boots. You won't be dissapointed. Only downside, is that I think I have lost 3 of the 4 shoelace tips on these boots.

Most comfortable and cool boot ever! Just came back from hiking for a week in the desert. These boots were cool and comfy. They are well made; I also like the hooks that hold the laces (the hooks are long enough that the laces don't fall out, as they did on my other boots). I ordered 1/2 size up, as usual for hiking boots. Vasque boots are the best!

These boots are so comfortable, that this is my second pair this year.

I bought my first pair in april. They are so well made and good looking, as well as sturdy , I wanted to make sure that I had a replacement pair for down the road. I sensed the quality right out of the box. Get a pair, while you can. My dog likes them 'cause he knows when I put them on, he gets to go sniffing and...

Cool Breeze are IDEAL for hot feet - This is the best (light) hiking boot I've ever owned. My feet often become overheated in regular hiking shoes, but last year when I was in Costa Rica I couldn't believe how comfortable and airy these boots were. I wear them every day in the summer and I have just ordered another pair of these boots.

you will love these boots, and want another pair!

a very well made boot. no break in time required. just put them on and go. not flashy-they go well with most clothes. they even look good when there not on. i am actually considering purchasing another pair! nice and light for quick traversing on uneven trails, espesially when your dog see's a furry friend. go ahead, buy a pair! i wouldn't lie!

I have trouble finding any footwear that doesn\'t hurt my feet (I had a major foot injury years ago) but I love these boots! They breath and are very comfortable. They give me the ankle and arch support I need and there\'s room for an extra insole.\r\nThanks Zappos. You are my only shoe store!

Breeze boot - This is my second pair of this boot. I have flat feet and neuropathy in my feet and this boot is the best I have found for support on my feet. I am able to walk with more than comfort than any other shoe even without my orthopedic prescribed orthotics.

Negative Reviews:

Most uncomfortable footwear I've ever owned

Extremely uncomfortable boot. I have fairly normal/balanced feet for a human, however, this boot does not seem to be made for humans. Roomy toe box but beyond that, utter shyte. On top of the foot (metatarsals) this boot is horribly restrictive to the point of pain. There is no way to adjust for this and I've given the pair a fair shake and many miles - it's not a matter of break-in. Above the ankie is fine, though do yourself a favor if these boots fit your foot without issue, get new laces from day one. Stock laces are about as adept at holding a knot as buttered spaghetti. I have had my most painful hikes in these boots. They're going back.
