Better than expected..a true tool!!

| I haven't owned a Swiss Army knife for a long time and when my Gerber broke I decided to give the Super Tinker a shot. I use it as a daily carry knife and needed something that I could carry in my pocket comfortably. From the first day I had it I found uses for it. From adjusting the idle on my friends dirtbike with the screwdriver to using the scissors to cut paper at work, it's been invaluable. The construction is what you'd expect of a Swiss Army knife. Solid and well done. The steel seems to be of high quality and the knife opens and closes smoothly. I highly recommend this knife to those who need a mult-tool for daily use. However, if you need a knife for backcountry use, I'd go with another model. This one seems better suited for daily use and home repair type stuff. If you get this knife, you won't be sorry. | |

Great, All Purpose Swiss Army Knife

| The Super Tinker rocks! For tough screws, the phillips screwdriver is better than an ordinary screwdriver; not kidding. I'd much rather have the screwdriver over the corkscrew. And all the tools are great... and actually work. I've used every tool successfully... except for the "wire stripper". :) I think this model (or the Victorinox "Mechanic", with pliers instead of scissors... which are very handy for grabbing hot cooking utensils when camping)is my favorite swiss army knife. Due to it's compactness and strength, I say these knives are still the best multi-tool for any camping (sorry Leatherman). | |
