Great tire |

| I am impressed with the tire. Being on tour and needing a replacement tire you tend to take what is there not what you want. I finished off the last two months of my tour with this tire on the back of my fully loaded bike. I am pleased to say that the tire performed better than the $42 tire it replaced due to a failed side wall. The only downside to the tire was I broke two park tool tire levers mounting it on my sun rims cr-18 48 spoke rims. If I am lucky enough to tour agian I may start out with a set of Vittoria tires on my rig. |

Highly durable |

| As a daily bike commuter, I never want flats, ever. This has been a trouble-free tire for commuting. They are incredibly durable. I have pulled out shards of glass from them that would have punctured any other tire. And, unlike the Michelin XC-Cross Country Tires you can pull these over the rim when you do have to fix a flat. These tires are also much more readily available than the Avocet Cross IIs (they can be custom ordered for you from by REI - these Vittoria tires tend to be available "on the shelf"). |

This is a very good tire but... |

| I switch my 700 x 28 Vittoria Zaffiro's on my Schwinn World DBX to the 700 x 32 tire for my winter riding and find that I'm working harder to get up the hills around Portland. I suppose that the slight weight increase, wider contact surface and the tread design of the RC are the culprits. But that's the price I have to pay for having a stronger tire with better traction on wet surfaces. And this tire rides smoother and looks good also. |

Very Good tire |

A very good durable tire. I bought the 28's for my commuter bike and they ride much better than the tires they have replaced. I have always liked Vittoria tires and I have not been dissapointed in these either.
They were a little hard to mount but that comes with puncture and sidewall cut resistance. |

Good city tires |

| I use these tires for city commuting. Thus far I have put about 500 miles on these tires. They are durable. Though, I would prefer if REI carried the Vitorria Radonneur tires that have a reflective band. |

For me there's no better tire. |

| The first thing that caught my eye was the tread design, because I knew it would give very little road resistance. It rides smooth too. I also like the punture resistant belt design also. |

Solid tire |

| This tire is uni-directional, watch out for the label it is a little hard to find. I did not discover it until I had the first tire mounted. |

Great commuting tire |

| Great commuting tire, replaced my heavier Bontrager hardcase 35s. Much better ride, and rolls much better (faster). No flats yet, but only a few months/miles so far. |

This is one tough tire! |

| This has proven to be the best tire we have ever used on our tandem for durability. |
