Great Paddle!

I use the 230 version of this paddle for kayaking with my Wilderness Systems Pungo 120. The shaft/paddle is lightweight and because of the cost of it - I equipped it with the deluxe paddle leash that EMS sells. Works perfectly and you definitely are less tired using this type of paddle than an aluminium one. I decided to spring for a more deluxe paddle and a less elaborate PFD - as well as a nicer kayak. The EMS staff were excellent in helping me decide on the kayak and accessories. Got it on the 20% off sale...:)

Better than expected

Maybe I shouldn't even write a review as I am a total novice kayaker. However, I can say that this paddle is much lighter than I expected. It seems to fit pretty well too as I used the werner fit guide. I'm very happy, but don't have much to say about durability. Sight unseen, I wouldn't hesitate to buy this paddle. It's not going back, that's for sure.

Good paddle for the price

So glad I picked this one! Very comfortable with good power. I have arthritis and would get fatigued and sore with my old paddle, but not with this one. Was able to paddle farther and longer with a lot less fatigue (even in a stiff headwind). Nice control, too. Would highly recommend this to anyone.

Good paddle

Bought this paddle for day trips/touring and it so far seems perfect for it. As I am used to all-carbon paddles it seems a little heavy, but not more than expected. The angle adjustment/shaft lock works perfect, and makes it feel like a one-piece paddle.

good paddle

comfortable and light paddle for my limited experence with paddles-this was a replacement for the first one I owned and liked that vanished-EMS had the best price when I ordered and it showed up promptly

Great Value Quality Paddle

Great Paddle, getting up to speed is a little slower due to the longer thinner blade design, but makes paddling all day much easier.
