Q: What is the size?
A: The internal dimensions are approximately 26 by 38 inches. The sides are approximately 2 inches high.
Q: What is it made of?
A: It is made of vinyl-dipped, welded 1/4-inch steel wire; good sturdy stuff.
Q: I’m bolting the rack to my vehicle and want to make sure the crossbars are spaced correctly for the basket. How far apart should they be set?
A: The BasketCase is prone to some size variations. Because of this, and since permanent installations are unforgiving, it is strongly recommended that a BasketCase be purchased and used as a template to ensure proper placement.
Q: Will I need to mount the BasketCase length-wise or width-wise?
A: That depends on how far apart your crossbars are and that depends on your vehicle. The BasketCase can be mounted on top of the crossbars, or, with the proper spacing, slightly below the bars, width-wise or length-wise. See the product instructions for more details.

| I have a 2003 Jeep Liberty and this Basketcase fits it perfect. I have the Raptor Aero bike mount over my driver side and the basket from the middle of the roof to the passenger side. Seems to be pretty durable. The best use so far is mounting my kayak. Why spend the same amount of green and ONLY be able to mount kayaks. This basket lets me carry cooler, luggage, fishing rods, snowboards, skis, and 2 kayaks. All you need is a couple of ratchet straps or tie downs and you are ready to go. | |

| This is a nice attachment to Yakima bars. Just gives you a little bit more space for a pack and other equipment when going on a trip with 3 friends. I could also use this with my large snowboard rack. Only thing that I didn't like was the netting always gets tangled and if you leave it attached to the roof it degrades within a year. | |
