The Yakima BlockHead Bike Mount is a rugged bike rack that can mount onto a truck, RV, boat or practically any solid, flat surface with access to the underside. This Yakima bike rack is constructed with tough, corrosion-resistant anodized black aluminum, features soft padding to protect a bikes paint job, and can hold a single bike. If you have more than one bike to store, it probably makes sense to buy more. So if a Yakima hitch rack isn't in the cards, you can still travel with your favorite kick ass bike using the BlockHead bike mount.
The Yakima Blockhead is an instant bike mount that will bolt to any flat surface on pickups, RVs, and boats (mounting hardware not included). The durable and corrosion resistant Blockhead holds one bike, and comes with a beefy 9mm non-locking skewer. Padding protects your truck's finish. *For Locking Blockhead, see YAK0034 – includes SKS cores & keys.
BlockHead truck bed rack systems can be bolted into your truck bed for easy bike transport. These badboys can also be bolted virtually anywhere for a cheap and easy bike storage solution – perfect if you’re in a DIY kind of mood.
This accessory will allow you to mount a bicycle to any surface where 2 holes can be drilled--pick-ups, RVs, boats or even garage walls

This product is easy to install and easy to use. I had to get an additional bike mount because my son recieved a larger bike and we had to move the original mount farther back to allow his bike to fit. My only negative comment is the shipping is half the cost of the product. I am sure there are less expensive shipping costs.
I used the Blockhead to bolt in the back of my truck. It's simple and strong. However, I needed to use longer bolts, and since the top overlaps over the holes, I had to drill out the pre-set holes in the bottom of the mount. This allowed me to slide in the longer bolts at an angle, and get bast the overhanging skewer mount. It did the job and now it works well.
