As skis keep getting wider, standard racks just don't make the cut. The Yakima FatCat 4 roof rack holds two snowboards or four pairs of big pow skis in its massive jaws, so you don't have to cram them in your car. Yakima's low-profile mounting system works on round bars, square bars, and most factory roof racks. Thanks to an aerodynamic shape, the FatCat 4 won't wreck your gas mileage, and it won't make annoying whistling sounds as you cruise down the highway either.

Best Ski Rack on Market | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
Bought these for use during the '08 ski season. They've proven to be the best ski racks I've ever owned! I bought the Yakima Fat Cats to replace the Thule ski racks I used to own. After 4 seasons of listening to the Thule's jet engine-like wind noise at highway speeds, I had had enough. The Fat Cats are remarkably silent (even at 80mph mounted on a Jeep Grand Cherokee!) You dont even know they're up there - perfect. And they look great too! I would definitely recommend the Fat Cats if you've had enough of the Thule wind noise and are looking for great form and function in a ski rack. | |
