The Locking Yakima BlockHead Bike Rack is an instant locking bike mount made for one bike with a quick release front wheel. This application requires drilling holes into the mounting surface on most types of flat surfaces, including pickup trucks, RV's, campers, boats, trailers and more. Locks bike to Block Head mount using a Yakima SKS lock core and key - included. Also included is all of the mounting hardware with easy to follow instructions.
You don’t have to be a genius to bolt Blockheads onto your truck. However, you will feel like a genius if you buy a few extras, bolt them to a 2 x 4, and use them to hang your bikes on the garage or basement wall.
The Yakima Locking Blockhead is bomber security. The Locking Blockhead holds one bike, and mounts on pickups, RVs, and boats (mounting hardware not included). It locks your bike to the mount with SKS cores and keys, which are included. The durable and corrosion resistant Locking Blockhead also comes complete with a beefy 9mm skewer. Padding protects your truck's finish. Non-locking Blockhead also available.

Well made, just like all Yakima products. Only complaint is the locking mechanism. It only locks the release lever. The other end of the skewer could easily be removed with some pliers. It is better than no lock, but more theft resistance would be a plus. I think If I got them again I would save the 10.00 and get non locking and a good cable and lock. | |

| I just got mine in yesterday it's awesome! I've got a new Xterra and the back cargo floor is removable, so I just took it out, bolted this in, and voila, I've got an internal bike rack for the X. I actually ordered 2 of these, one for each side. Keeps bike out of hot sun, rain, and bad people. | |
