Love & Hate Them | |

The Multimounts were an addition to my rack to hold paddles and fishing poles. I use the mounts all the time and have been really happy with them; they are a great way to get long, bothersome items out of the inside of my vehicle. Although they do work well, I've had a little problem with the strap not holding smaller items as tightly as I would like them to.

"no longer up s-creek without a paddle."

| for those of us with small compact cars and longer paddles this does a good job of stacking and porting paddles. i've not yet used this on MY car, but i've used them on other folks, and as long as you tighten everything down the right way, your paddles get to the river the same time you do. | |

| The Multi-Mounts are great they keep your paddle nice and secure and if your into sking then you can also fit one pair of ski's on it too also as the bindings will clear. I haven't had any problems with putting ski's in it, and it really works great on paddles. There Great I Wouldn't Change A Thing. | |

Not necessary, but totally worth it!

These really opened up a lot of space for passengers and gear in my car. I used to carry kayak paddles and other long objects in the car which was pretty awkward, and it required the back seat(s) to be folded down. They're also way more secure than just lashing things to the rack.

| I might use multimounts for skies. If I was a skier. Then lock my skies with a good U-Lock or good cable lock to my Basketcase. | |

"Not worth the money" | |

| This is a fine product for putting paddles on your rack, but it's not ideal. The straps are leather and don't make good contact with your paddle. Plus, the whole strap/hook system doesn't work well. It gets the job done, but my paddles are often moving around in it. I've really just skipped using it and just throw my paddles in my car. | |
