The back bone of any roof rack system is its CrossBars. Yakima's round bars are extremely strong and always give you an even attachment surface.

| Once we sat down and looked over the paperwork, it didn't take long to figure everything out and put the whole system together. We ordered everything we would need to carry at least two kayaks on our Corolla. Had out first trip over the weekend and the racks went on easy, and rather than spend another $35 on locks, we pop the racks off and stow them in the back seat while we are out on the water--takes seconds to do this. Downside: Is the cost to swap out the kayak part of the rack system to haul two bikes instead. | |
