These 1"-diameter round crossbars are a main component of Yakima car top multi-sport rack systems.
Coach is no physicist, but he does know that round structures are stronger than square ones. That's why Yakima crossbars are round. Because the majority of our top-mounted racks also fit square bars.

| I'm still waiting for the final Yakama 60" tracks to complete this custom installation. For now the Yakama 48" round Cross Bars, will just fit in the 51" bed width of the Dodge RAM1500 Crew cab with RAM tool boxes. This is going to be a very tight installation when all is said and done with only a couple of inches of room to mount 4 Yakama High Roller Bike Mounts and 4 Mountain Bikes. I will have to alternate the stagger depth set on the High Rollers or reverse face every other one to make this work. BIG DAWG | |

| If you want to have a great rack system buy a yakima system. If you buy it from Moose Jaw you get the reward points and many times free shipping. Nobody discounts yakima gear. This is as good as it gets. I have had my system for 10 years now and it has been flawless the entire time. Now I am expanding it to my wife's CRV. It is amazing how well this thing grips my wife's car. She will not get it off without the keys. : ) | |

| All of them, a crossbar cant jump! What's up with Subaru not putting crossbars standard on any of their models anymore? Pretty lame if you ask me. I decided to not give in to the forced accessory buying at the dealership and try the LowRider out. The brackets grip the factory rails extremely well and happily carry around all of my toys with no problems. Also, with the Yakima rack you can get the shiny skull endcaps for your crossbars and let everyone know how hardcore you are. | |

| I love every part of my Yak Rack!!! CONVIENT! When ordering my crossbar I considered getting them longer than suggested but changed my mind last minute. If I hadn't ordered the suggested length I would most definetly be bumping my head on the bars!!! Something to consider if your having the same debate in your head as I was. | |

| I just love my yakima set up and I would never get anything different!! With the round yakima bars you have the ability to bend things down onto the roof of your vehicle for better aerodynamics and I just think yakima's products look more bad ass.. | |

| These crossbars are heavy duty. I was expecting something a lot more wimpy, but these things are strong. I currently have two raptor bike racks mounted to them and with two bikes loaded on they don't bend at all. | |
