The Yakima SKS Lock Cores 2PK allows you to add locking functionality to your rack and accessories. If a piece of your rack is SKS Lock Core compatible, you can use the included master key to insert the cores. Then use the included key to open both locks.

They are nothing special, until you consider that they keep your stuff from being stolen. They work like they should, and I haven't had any serious problems with my old ones either. sometimes the key won't turn, but take the key out and re-insert and it has been working for 5+ years now and just bought another set for my new Yakima boat rack. works well. | |

I find this item quite useful and easy to use. The product came within ten days. I would recommend it to any one who has a roof bike rack. Although this item is by Yakima it works well with my Saris bike rack. The instructions for putting the lock cores in were easy to follow. | |

The SKS Lock Cores are super simple to use. Just insert the key and stick them in. I used this set of two with my King Cobra Bike Rack. The bike rack only took one lock, so I'm going to use the other one with my old ski rack. | |

it is a good to have a core system where you are able to buy more cores that mach up with the key you already have. I have had durability issues with them though. 2 out of the six that i have for my ski/bike rack just wont turn and thats only after a couple years of hard use. | |
