The Yakima SKS Lock Cores 6PK allows you to add locking functionality to your rack and accessories. If a piece of your rack is SKS Lock Core compatible, you can use the included master key to insert the cores. Then use the included key to open all 6 locks.

What can i say, they're locks. They're easy to install and don't jam. They also come with two keys so you can keep one on you and put the other in a safe place for when you loose the one you had on you. Pricey yes but the feeling of security they provide is worth it. Also, if you have enough of them and buy the accessory lock housings, you can not only lock your rack to your car, but also your rack accessories to your rack to deter all but the most persistent thieves. | |

These locks have done a great job for the past year at securing my rack to my car. The key still turns great despite the locks exposure to dusty desert and snowy mountain conditions. A small price to pay to keep your valuables locked to your rack and your rack to your roof. | |
