This was a great purchase. I have a 2000 Mitsubishi Montero Sport and the spare tire was mounted under the rear bumper. Now it's in my Yakima Load Warrior on my roof. It looks better and stays clean in the event of a flat tire plus there is room for extra gear and Yakima sells an extension if I need even more cargo room. The only other thing I need now is a tire step to make it easier to get the tire down and access the roof rack but other that that this was great! | |

This Yakima spare tire carrier ROCKS! We put it on our 98 Jeep GC. Mounted it to Yakima's aftermarket roof rack. The tire is originally mounted on the cargo area of the 98's, so putting the tire up top really freed up a lot of cargo space to haul more stuff! Carrier is very strong and well-made as are all Yakima products, VERY HAPPY! | |

The YAKIMA SPARE TIRE CARRIER works great with my 33" tire, it mounted up to my Yakima Megawarrior very easily and holds the tire very snug. I went on a two day off-road expedition and it never even budged through rivers, over rocks and logs, and down and up steep climbs. Like always I Love What Yakima Brings With It's Products!!! | |

This spare tire carrier is well designed and well made. I was especially pleased because I was able to easily adapt it to fit my MINI cooper roof-rack luggage carrier. It works very well the spare tire is held securely and I can even lock it. | |
