Best Rack Around | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
I've been hauling my bikes around on scads of different racks, and the SproketRocket has been the best by far. My bikes don't sway on this rack, even while hauling down the interstate at 80 mph. The adjustable cams allow for quick fitting and uber-easy loading and unloading, and a monkey could figure out how to install it. The lock cores are super easy to use, and keep creeps from swiping your steed. If you're questioning whether to buy this or go for a cheaper rack, compare a Camelbak vs. a hydration pack from Walmart. You won't be sorry you got this rack.

Best fork mount around | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
Yes its pricey but it has lots small features that make it worth the money. The rear attachment point slides very easily on the rack unlike some of the other yakima products. The release on the ratchet has never gummed up or gotten stuck like the ones on cheaper models either. The rack is also very sturdy it has zero twist to it. This rack has held my kona dawg and bianchi veloce secure at high speeds up to 80 mph. I have never once feared my back coming off while using this rack.

If it worked for me it will for you.

I wasn't planning on writing a review for this but a couple of days ago I was driving away from the Backcountry warehouse with some sick new gear on my way up to do some mountain biking when I forgot I had my bike on the rack. I drifted onto the interstate and then realized oh sh#$t. The rack held it on like a champ. Also great for disk brake bikes. Easy on easy off. This is the best rack functionally and looks wise.

"Great bike mount for car rack, built well, very sturdy"
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I was hesitant to buy this rack at first because of the cost difference between it and the lower end yakima racks. I have used both and can say that this one is much better. The ratchet mechanism for the back tire is built much better and is easier to use and the fork mount is much sturdier. Great, well made mount that will last forever. PS fork mounts are the way go, much sturdier and more aerodynamic than the standup mounts. | |

Awesome bike trays! | |

i ended up buying these trays after going back and forth because of the price. the truth is these trays are extremely durable, has the easiest lockdown system, very secure, and won't torque your bikes when driving down a rough road. it's worth the extra money to buy these. not a bike that wouldn't fit on these, my cruiser bike is no problem. i see these trays lasting me a long, long time.

awesome! | |

| great design-vast improvement over older models. once adjusted to your fork it takes30 sec to securely mount. this is very important when you have children and have lots of bikes to mount/dismount. this is solid, looks sleek. My only nitpicky complaint is that the wheel tray traps water when parked. will freeze in winter. this can be easily remedied by drilling drainage hole on plastic. otherwise ive found the perfect bike carrier! | |

| Love the sales and the points! Also free shipping is just as fast as upgrading. The new sprocket rocket is exactly what I needed and I feel safe where ever I might take my bikes. Also, you barely have to adjust the skewer, the lever throws it far enough to accept my mt bike fork to my road bike. Looks great too. | |

"Its awsome and I love it!"

| I bought this rack about a yearago now and have used it alot. I have taken it on some rough dirt roads and my bike didnt even flintch. I like the fact that when the bike is not on it that the rack cannot be removed from the bars. this rack will accomidate any bike big, small, disc brakes. | |

So maybe I want it to match my car!
| Rating: | ![]() |
| This mount is very durable, stable, and solid. I actually got this because it matches the color of my car and it looks absolutely gorgeous! (As far as a bike rack goes, I guess.) The only downside with this might be price but if you look at some of the other racks it might be fairly comparable. | |

Great Choice | |

| No regrets in going after the higher end model. The Sprocket Rocket from Yakima works very well . . . and by the way, it looks very cool, sleek and solid. I was able to get free shipping from Altrec, where other retailers added on handling charges based on the size. Altrec always delivers! | |
