The Yakima Tube Top is an accessory that creates a top tube for female or odd-shaped frames (full suspension), so you can keep your bike mounted solidly on single and dual mast hitch mounts. There is larger diameter tubing and anti-rotation inserts for greater stability, and larger molded collars that are gentle with your bike stem and seat post.
If your top tube is funkier than a disco bassline, don’t fret. The TubeTop makes your bike compatible with any hitch mount.

| Goodness -- what a package with the red smooch on the box's outside! The Mrs., hand on her hip, toe tapping had to ask with a certain amount of determination...what's in THAT?? Be patient my dear I softly said. The oldest wanted to use his teeth to open the package - literally, enough to follow the Moosejaw label. The tubes, oh yeah, just like Yakima promised. Simplicity in a clean design. The beauty of form and function and go's nicley with the Yakima bike rack on the back of the wife's SUV. Needless to say, the product rocks -- the kids' bikes go on and stay put through the drives. Went with 2 tube tops -- one can never be fully prepared. | |

| While the name might take me back to the 80's at Magic Mountain on a 103 degree day accompanied by my Rubenesque love Lisa, Yakima's Tube Top is very cool. As the owner of vintage bikes as well as youth sized fat-tires, I am able to easily carry any bike on my Yakima 5-bike carrier with the tube top filling in as a crossbar. Thanx Yak! | |

| Although this device makes it possible to use the Yakima FullSwing 4 Hitch Rack to transport women's-model bicycles, it is not a perfect fit, and each "nonconforming" bicycle requires one of these accessories in order for the carrier to transport it. This retrofit accessory does not stabilize the front wheel, as the carrier stabilizes the front wheels of men's bikes. | |

| I bought the MegJoe 3 bike rack for our three bikes and tried to load two female mountain bikes and had a really difficult time. I bought two of the Yakima Tob Tubes for those bikes and it made it so much easier to load them and they didn't damage the bikes at all. | |
