There's not much shredlets love more than heinous colors, so 686 teamed up with Dickie's to make the Boy's Times Safety Insulated Jacket of retina-burning orange and yellow with reflective stripes, just in case he needs to do some highway work on the way home from the mountain. The Safety is also tricked out with an InfiDry-10 membrane that's waterproof and breathable, and polyfill insulation that'll stay warm even if he falls in a puddle. 686 is prepared for his growth spurt, too, as their Youth Evolution system provides sleeve length extensions for when he wakes up 4 inches taller than he was when he went to bed. You can account for growth, but there's no accounting for the taste of a 12 year old.
The boys' 686 Dickies Safety insulated jacket exudes cool, work-wear style and harnesses waterproof, breathable performance to keep kids feeling as good as they look on the slopes.

Been wanting a CDOT-issue snow jacket, and this is just as good! I wear a M/L women's and stoked that the boy's XL fit (tried out the sleeve adjustment - went from too short to just right with a few snips of the seams).
Love the safety color - already came in handy at a highway job site in the winter and also when I'm riding in a large group. Digging it.
This jacket was perfect for the kids! They love the colors and so do I. I can easily keep an eye on them out on the mountain. The material is well made, and it has the extensions, so as they grow, I can lengthen the sleeves!
