Black Diamond 18 mm Nylon Sling Reviews:

Nylon still has its uses....

Hey, while you're busy investing in Spectra slings, don't forget lowly nylon. It still has a place on your rack -- namely, if you have to, it's a lot less painful leaving one of these behind than sacrificing your white, narrow and light slings; speaking of which, if you need to color coordinate your pro and anchors, remember Spectra only comes in white with nylon strips added. And IMHO the wider nylon slings make better prussiks ... food for thought.

Standard Nylon Slings

I got the 18mm wide, shoulder length slings. They are slightly shorter than my slings from Sterling, but I use them for extendable draws so it works anyways. They're normal nylon slings with all the pros and cons of those.

No need for Dynema

Very light slings. They are aslight as Dynema and less than half the price.I even use one as a sholdure gear sling. It would be nice if BD would make a 48" though. And I Agree: BLACK DIAMOND!

Inexpensive sling

Durable nylon. It does what it's supposed to do. I use it mostly to anchor at the top of sport climbs and setting up a rappel or cleaning.

Quality Sown Single

I use this product for alpine draws and am very pleased with them. They are bulkier than the dynex sling but more affordable.

Slings, can never have enough

Slings are slings, these are a good all around work horse and can be used just about anywhere

Awesome Multi-purpose slings!!

I've used these slings mainly for extending an anchor and minimizing risistance on the rope. They work great
