Positive Reviews:

This dress is the best! I've tried on so many casual dresses this fall and have only found one that fits me just right besides this one. I am pear-shaped and think this dress is perfect for that body type. I am 5'3", 32-26-36 and bought the XS. It is very fitted in the bust so if you're bigger than 32" across the fullest part, order up a size. It skims over the hips and drapes perfectly from there... SO slimming. It's fitted through the middle, too, which works for me as my problem area is saddlebags (and this dress hides them perfectly!). It hits me an inch above the knee. The licorice color is a fine neutral but beware it might be tough for legwear... it's the color of black licorice when you bite into it - a bit of a brownish, greenish black. You put this against black leggings and it has a brown-green cast to it... you put it against charcoal gray leggings and it clashes... I'll probably do black leggings for now and look for some cream or oatmeal heather leggings to pair with it (because brown boots will look awesome with this color). So excited, ordering another color!

Awesome Dress

I tried this dress on in a store and fell in love with it, and I very rarely buy clothes new (I'm a consignment shopper!) This one I had to order later. I have a pretty casual life, so for me it's a dress to wear when I want to look nice. I wear it with leggings and tall boots, but it's also great with yoga pants under and a sweater on top. It does cling, which is part of its charm, but if you have bulges under, (from other layers or a little extra,) it may cling a little. In general the drape is wonderful. I am 5'9 130 pounds and it fits perfectly. The neckline is about as low as I wear, especially if you're small on top. That said, it's lovely. My husband loves it too.

I've just recently discovered Horny Toad and I love these dresses! I bought the Oolong dress after buying and loving the Rosalinda dress. The fabric is the same - very soft and a good weight. I like the asymmetrical neckline. I think I like the 3/4 sleeve style on the Rosalinda dress a little better, but this is still a very nice looking, comfortable dress.

Ohh La La Oolong-Long

Simply put, just love it. Love H-Toad (can't type real name as it's badword). Such great quality. Just really really sad can't get teh brown and blackin it.

I will say yes to recommend so as to avoid confusing people, but truly...I wouldn't because I wouldn't want everyone wearing the same dress as me!! ; )

I love flexible dresses, and this is one of them. The fabric tends towards the lighter side, but I'll still wear it in winter (with tights). It's just easy -- throw on flats and pearls for dinner with in-laws, or just add clogs for kicking it in the office on a relaxed day.

I love this dress! Great lines, very flattering, and really comfortable. A win-win-win. I am short and curvy and it looks good with high boots and stockings. I also saw a very thin woman wearing it on the street the other day and it looked great on her too. Very versatile style.

Super comfy great with flats or tights and boots. Can be worn casual or dressy. I am 5'6"and 140 I have the small and it fits perfectly. The purple is a great color too not too bright.

This is a very cute and versatile dress. I'm 5'3 and about 120 lbs and the XS fits great.

Negative Reviews:

I was so excited about this dress and it was a good fit at first but thin, and then it shrunk. Now it's thin and tight. Why have a dress that's so thin...with long sleeves? It shows every lump and bump and bra and panty line, so I'd say if you don't have a perfect figure...don't bother. I'm not the type to wear a casual dress with a smoother...besides, for this price, I'd expect a better quality. Yeah, I'm bummed about this dress - and now I'm stuck with it.
Mcoffeesnob - customer at Zappos.com on 11/14/2011
I'm 5'4", 146lbs and a medium was tight fitting. It's not a forgiving cut and not for people with bumps and a non-flat middle. The fabric and the length is really good but I'm returning it.

Neutral Reviews:

I have the sleeveless version of this dress in XS and I absolutely love it. However, the cut in the long sleeve is not the same at all. I am 5'2" 125 lbs with a muscular build and curves. The mid section of the dress was very baggy, the shaping darts did not make the waist slim enough, and then the skirt was snug in the hips, making for an unflattering fit. I think it would work better for someone with slim hips or a more straight figure. The length was just at the knee for me.
